It should be Bershear. He’s younger than her. She will lose if she pics another female, and old running mate, and Shapiro might be an issue with the Middle East war.

Pete Buttigieg is my favorite. I love Gretchen. But I guess someone like Beshear is the 'safest' great choice.

Shapiro will be a huge issue for young voters and progressives due to his stance on the Israel Palestine conflict.

Waiting until August? You know what? That'll just mean that much more hype. Let's do this.
  • VP can't just be for votes. They need to be key in moving an agenda and can help get compromise in Congress.

Andy Beshear The governor of Kentucky is perfect to round out the ticket!
  • I am still trying to learn more about Kamala Harris' potential VP picks, but I am leaning towards Pete Buttigieg for three reasons: he participated in the 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries; he has experience working within the Executive Branch as a Cabinet member; and he would not have to give up any Governor or Senator seat in the battleground states.

Obvious Answer: somebody who will be a lot better than J. D. Vance.

I've got a crazy idea: Liz Cheney for Veep. Now THAT would really throw a spanner into the works!

Pete Buttigeig comes to mind but he might be a better Secretary of State speaking seven languages.

Sorry that Gov Bershear is not named. Shapiro will turn some of us off…

actually she has plenty of time, the recent british election was only 6 weeks long... its too bad we've evolved into a democracy where election seasons never end, its part of the reason we're in the state we're in politically

Would there be anything wrong with the nominee for president (most likely Ms. Harris) submitting 3 prospective contenders for the 'second spot' to the convention delegates, and let them fill that slot?!
