We will never solve homelessness. We have to get used to that fact.

In this video, I talk with people on the streets as well as other homeless advocates. This episode took place in Denver, Colorado.

  • If someone who was once making $100,000 can end up on the streets, then nobody is safe from being homeless.

I hate to see our veterans on the streets, and we're giving billions of dollars to other countries or the migrants😓

Homelessness is everywhere now and it’s getting worse! 😢

90% of us are one paycheck away from joining them. We are not free.

Sucks ! Grew up in Colorado we didn’t have those problems decades ago . Very disturbing
  • The dude said he couldn't do random food off the street, but random fentanyl was no problem. Holy holy crap.😢
  • Downtown Denver NEVER used to be like this! What a shame. Happening in cities everywhere.

This is so sad. It's more than just a drug issue; we need affordable housing in this country!!!
  • @Soggygranite
You know it’s getting bad when the junkies don’t mind having a stranger with a camera give a cribs tour of their open air drug markets
  • My Mom works at a grocery store in Denver and the employees will get fired if they try to stop a shoplifter. Its sad

I worked at the Sheraton Downtown Denver hotel from 2010-15 and there was always an immense amount of homeless and druggies sneaking throughout every crevice of the hotel which was a huge problem. I can't even imagine how it must be now 💀

I was renting in Santa Cruz CA My landlord told me she was gonna double my rent. I could’ve easily been homeless. I moved to Texas. I knew no one. I got a job. I saved for 2y. I bought a small home in Coleman Tx. I’m doing great now, thx to the landlord who was gonna double my rent

Me and my family was homeless living in a hotel for 2 years. We are blessed to have our own places now. This upcoming March will be 2 years of me living in my current apartment. Stay blessed everyone!!
  • I sold my home in Denver a few years ago for 650k and recently found out it was forclosed on and turned into a crack house. I can't tell you how glad I am that I got out. I never want to set foot in this city again.
  • This was an eye opener. Excellent journalism. You get into the causes of homelessness which is good. Our congressmen need to see these videos.

I live in Denver and within the past 3 years the homeless & migrants have ruined the city completely. As a native, it’s terrible and definitely not going to change for the better

Thank you for opening American eyes to the homeless apocalypse that is spreading across our country. You are making it hard for people to close their eyes to the truth. Maybe when enough eyes are opened we can force the change that needs to happen

I appreciate the work you do Nick. I have to mention though Colorado and Washington legalizing marijuana was a massive, long overdue development that drew in many types of people, from folks like these here to PhD students, medical professionals, lawyers, and many others. Nobody winds up homeless because of weed though but some stoners are homeless because of the cost of living. I'm one of them. I work full time and would rather save my money than hemorrhage it on rent. I've been in the workforce 20 years and finished college twice while smoking weed everyday. The problem is housing genuinely fails the cost-benefit analysis. It's gotten so out of control that the only way to be financially responsible is to cut it out of my budget.
