The female drummer Nao has had a huge effect on Japanese female drummers. She is a huge inspiration for Akane from Band-Maid and Tamu from Nemophila, as well as countless others.
  • @PaulEngineer
Nao the coolest Mom in Rock. Her brother Ryo on lead guitar, baby shots of the band... so "Sperm of Love" takes on a family meaning. They are masters of crowd participation (even when rarely overseas) and have an especially very loyal fan base. A lot of their other songs are quite wild - they have just released a new single which includes some classics re-released with guest performers.
  • To give you both some context. Since you both Love Hanabie this is the band that Hanabie started out doing covers of since they were huge fans of the gtoup. MTH has a very similar type of song structures that Hanabie has (Only crazier). Genre flips, time changes, heavy riffs and cool transitions. MTH is very popular in Japan and very influential. The drummers from Nemophila (Tamu) and Band-Maid (Akane) were inspired by MTH's drummer (Nao) that women could be drummers. One thins I love about MTG is they literally look like they just threw on whatever clothhes within reach before they perform. FYI: The lyrics are suggestive in a tomgue in cheek way.

This their most normal song I think.. the rest are wild :D The drummer is bigsister to the guitarist as mentioned.
  • This band is who most current Japanese rock\metal bands talk about having some sort of influence on them. They are wild.
  • @user-lj8zp6ts5g
    あなた達がリアクションした 日本のほとんどのバンドは 少なからずMTHの影響を受けています。 Not poprock!

HANABIE is also a fan of Maximum The Hormone Before their debut, they often covered MTH's songs. This was translated by a machine, so please excuse any errors.:face-blue-smiling: Please check out more of MTH's songs. Their music is amazing, and just recently, they released a new music video.:face-red-heart-shape:

Saw this live at a festival last year. Tens of thousands doing the dance together. Such a blast.
  • @kylec1411
This band is insanity and wildly good musicians and music
  • @PaulEngineer
Japanese Legends... all Japanese roads eventually come across MtH - I call this one my happy song, not as angry as many of their songs ;)
  • @Dead-EyeMetal
The green screen thing is from an earlier video where they demonstrated dance moves for the song. In the main video you see the huge audience performing the moves as Dai also does it onstage.
  • @wolf0313542
MTHのリアクションありがとうございます 私のMTHオススメはロッキンポ殺し という曲です。 ぜひお二人のリアクションが観たいです Thank you for the reaction MTH My MTH recommendation is the song ROKKINPO GOROSHI. I really want to see the action between the two of you.
  • The green screen footage was released before their live performance by Koi no sperm, so that the audience could dance along with the choreography.
  • This live video was edited from MAXIMUM the HORMONE's appearance at a music festival. The video in the upper left corner is not a music video, but a reaction video created by MAXIMUM the HORMONE so that the audience at the show can enjoy the new song. In other words, the audience at the show can perform the same actions when they see the video in the upper left corner, which makes the venue more united. MAXIMUM the HORMONE is a band that is so concerned with live performance that they run their own live house. Therefore, the band has played many shows, and their fans know that MAXIMUM the HORMONE's music is a completely different experience waiting for them at the venue than at home. The band's unique live performances easily transcend language barriers, and even their shows in South America have been met with perfect audience communication. (Of course, none of the members of MAXIMUM the HORMONE speak Portuguese.) The lyrics of the songs are written in Japanese, but they are so close to being guessed that even Japanese people find it difficult to understand them, let alone listen to them. Therefore, it is a very special song that is both in Japanese and has an international flavor that can be enjoyed equally by all. Their years of activity and live experience, as well as their performance skills, are unrivaled, but they are not under contract with any major record company. In other words, their fans are hard-core and of a very wide age range. Even though they do not appear on TV or advertise extensively, they continue to influence many artists and have provided many songs that are too extreme for an anime song. Professional musicians, comedians, film actors, and even animation directors have made no secret of their hardcore fan base. Although their music is based on death metal, they have adapted to various styles over the course of their long career. Their one-of-a-kind style of combining different styles within a single song has established a uniqueness that no one else can imitate to this day. In order to achieve this style, not only is it necessary to be familiar with all kinds of music from pop to hardcore, but it is also necessary to have a mysterious ability to smoothly repeat modulations and make them work as a single song through advanced performance skills and compositional abilities. In addition, all band members (even the drummer) can sing chorus and main vocals. Until now, the band has been in a strange position, playing at many major music festivals but ignoring major record labels and thus keeping their name unknown outside of Japan. However, as a result of the spread of their existence through Youtube, MAXIMUM the HORMONE's international fan base has grown rapidly without the band's knowledge. Now, MAXIMUM the HORMONE is so well known that they are even able to tour outside of Japan. Still, MAXIMUM the HORMONE has never tried to become wealthy through their music. They choose to be a starving dog and keep barking. They are famous for being faithful to their appetites, writing more songs about food than about world peace or dissatisfaction with the world.
  • @IanBreton35
Ryo on guitare and Nao on Drums are Brother and Sister.
  • @MegaHogzilla
Yoshu Fukushu is their best song. An emotional song, at that.
  • @masametal29
MTH has very huge effect on Japanese younger bands. I love their super catchy and heavy crossover style. I recommend MTH's song "シミ(Shimi)".
  • This is probably one of MTH's " lighter " songs - but what a song to pull out the hat at festivals ! Probably the best description of their genre is - Tangental Rock - in all their songs just when you think you've got a handle on what's going on - off they go in a completely different direction !
  • @darkmaer
Make sure you react to other songs. This is probably one of their most consumer friendly songs.
