Another tip is that you can jab to negates an enemy attack and make him open his guard. Timing the kicks and jabs will allow you to combo your enemy.

Another tip is don't be eager to revive a downed teammate. Make sure all the inmediate threats are taken care of and the area is clear. I've seen and experienced too many instances of people reviving someone while enemies (like the guy who downed them in the first place) are dangerously close. You go in to help your teammate up and you both end up dying seconds later. The same can be said for healing yourself or getting more ammo/bandages. None of those things matter if you're dead.

(Btw you can counter arrows by counterstabbing the arrows at the right time) VERY high risk but free stamina

another thing i would add is timing your blocks to lose less stamina and retaliate fast, you can do this by blocking at the very last moment an enemy decides to swing at you. You also get a little stamina back so you can get a chain going that way.

The good about shields is that they can protect you from arrows even if you don't raise them; it depends on the position of it in regards to the arrow(like, when you're running on the battlefield and an archer shoots an arrow at the side where your shield es protecting you, even that you hadn't pressed the guard button).

Good to see more Chivalry content, wish there a horde mode or PVE like Mordhau. Close to level 600 & still learn new techniques every time I play.
  • @StatesideBeast
When I played. I used.. I mean I stayed behind my teammates and stabbed with a spear XD
  • @DraxTheDestroyer
These are some of the best tips I ever got for Chivalry 2, thank you!

    Very informative…and funny! Thank you!
  • Footwork/Distancing is very important. There has been a lot of time I misjudge a weapon´s reach. Probably doesn´t help I am not wearing glasses now lmao

Lately I've been trying to stay around the players I spawn with, most split and go on separate directions but it sometimes helps a lot,
  • @signor4105
Thx man, just started playing, u helped a lot
  • A tip I got is try maintaining momentum. Then you can employ hit and run tactics if your enemy is in an open area and focused elswhere, and you can escape faster without having to wait to sprint. This doesn't work too well in smaller areas, or against large groups though.

Dragging stabs is underutilized by most players imo. It may not feel intuitive but makes sense.

Just the video I was looking for. Many of the tip videos I've seen with 10x the views arent nearly as good.

Kicks will not work against veteran players, jabs do, dont be greedy with attacks, wait for your opening
  • I am of that archers that can clap people in melee because i played other classes equally.
