Why did Aemond ask Vhagar to turn around and give up chasing Seasmoke in house of the dragon season 2 episode 7?
In House of the Dragon season 2, episode 7, Aemond Targaryen chases after the dragon Silverwing, but then surprisingly has Vhagar turn away before a fight starts. This is unusual for both Aemond and Vhagar, who have been shown to be more than willing to kill anyone in their way since the end of season 1. In the ending of House of the Dragon season 2, episode 7, there’s a big moment for Team Black with two new dragonriders joining their side. Ulf claims Silverwing and Hugh claims Vermithor, and with these two huge dragons, Team Black now has more confidence in facing Vhagar.

Aemond senses the change too. When Silverwing and Ulf unexpectedly show up in King's Landing, he starts to chase them but then backs away from the threat waiting on Dragonstone. Vhagar is the oldest, strongest, and biggest dragon in House of the Dragon, and isn't known for backing down from any challenge. That’s why she and Aemond eagerly chase Silverwing, confident they would win that fight. However, the Blacks have several dragons on Dragonstone, hoping to lure Aemond and Vhagar into a situation where they’d be heavily outnumbered.

Silverwing is the gentlest dragon. In fact, The Pit keepers who often looked after her were often looked upon by jealousy by pit keepers who looked after every other dragon.........because she was so clam and easy to manage.

Silverwing was not trying to lure Aemond and Vhagar into a fight...Silverwing was returning to what she called home for many years as Queen Alysanne's dragon.

It was Aemond that had to get Vhagar away, he fought with all his might to stop her because Vhagar was ready, which shows how far his command of her has come compared to S1 where she wasn't listening to him,

If Rhaenyra was truly an ahole, she would have had Vermithor, Silverwing and Seasmoke lauch a sudden invasion of KL and burn everyone to ground. Aemond wouldn't even have enough time to react and get Vhagar. It'd be over in a few minutes and all the Greens with the exception of Alicent would be dead. Thankfully she's not an ahole, at least not yet.

cause they are nothing but bully's.... they are ok with going one on one with a much smaller dragon..... but when faced with an equal size dragon plus 2 more..... they can't handle it..... Aemond's death will be as truly satisfying as joffrey's
