21 was trying to fight back tears, you could hear it in his voice . Real talk, the convos about his dad triggered him deep and I'm glad Shannon was able to allow him to be vulnerable and guide him through the conversation from an elder's perspective and still allow him to feel through it. THIS is community and this is BEAUTIFUL. Big up Shannon and 21 Savage.

Why do I like 21 Savage all of a sudden? This interview was great, and helps old people like me understand this guy. Shay Shay out here taking over the urban interview game, he lets his guest finish their thoughts unlike Vlad and he’s not arguing with them constantly.

The way my heart felt about the interview was, an uncle speaking to his now,adult nephew, Shannon really gave him,valued life lessons, education, relationships advice, a different outlook on life from past unaddressed trauma. ....UNCLE SHAY!

Shannon u bigger than you realize boss. You a whole professional unlicensed therapist out here lol. I truly believe this was therapeutic and needed for 21. You provide a safe space that a lot of interviewers don't. It's almost more like you providing us with live, 1st person autobiographies rather than just a interview.
