I handed Olivia the radio so fast she didn't even get to finish telling me about her parents lmfao. No regrets. Was happy saving Alex, Jacob, and Athena.

Anyone else who hoped there was a Jacob & Riley being a couple and raising Riley’s kid together ending ? It’s up to our imagination.. I mean it’s still not impossible, if you choose Olivia to go, riiight haha

In my playthrough (I chose Olivia in the end btw) Jacob didn’t even offer to close the portal which I found very weird and he even apologizes to Riley about it in the end by the docks 😅 I just wonder how many more different scenarios are there.

They could've at least let you talk and get to know the other characters from last game. It would be more nostalgic if they let you interact with Ren, Clarissa, Jonas or Nona.

I loved my finale. I stayed friends with Jacob but did NOT let him go with me to the Island because I was SURE the game would find a way to get him killed. I let Oliva stay with the radio. And when I found Jacob at the finale I said It was the wrong choice leaving him behind because I liked him as a character but he acutually THANKED ME FOR IT and that I handdle everything just right. It was pretty good. I think is the best ending, at least to me

I know a lot of people choose Oliva to go to the other side for her family because the way she was unlikeable in people eyes. I didn't care for at all but understand exactly what she was trying to do and that broke my heart for her especially since she wants to see her parents and giving her the chance made me cry as I lost someone dear to me as well and if I had the chance to see them again I'll take it.

I feel really bad for the Sunken. They are innocent people who never asked for their fate and trapped in a hell dimension for all eternity.

so the secret ending is one of the three possible endings? what?

Without much thought, I gave the radio to Olivia. To me, she had little significance to the story that nothing at all would change if she were gone.

I appreciate this,I have already done this a number of times, but I couldn’t bring myself to let Jacob go into the portal. Glad to see the ending.

Only way i could feel for Olivia is that she is a teen who lost her parents and that took a huge toll on her she made mistakes but young people does that alot and she has her full life ahead of her. She needed help yadda yadda yadda. But still isn't enough to feel sympathy towards her, there should've been more encounters with her to let players feel towards her yk (and she should've been less psychotic) that part lacking didn't really made the choices at the end impactful. Oh maybe if Alex saw Riley's son Rex dead in many of the futures then it should support why we should let her be in the loop otherwise i don't see a point in letting Riley go thru the portal

I never realised one could meet Nick. I just assumed he was a friendly ghost on the Kanaloa. How does Riley get him into the portal? 🤔

I was torn between Alex and Oliva. Went with Alex but after seeing the endings and thinking about the story, Olivia seems like the best option. It's sad, and I didn't want her throwing her life away living in a fantasy, but this is something she wants and chooses and I think there's something to that vs sacrificing Alex and being a "savior". Not understanding the choices of others, but accepting them.

Honestly I felt like these ending choices were a little... disappointing? I love the game but once you get here to the end it really feels like there's only 1 choice that makes sense. Picking Jacob especially feels really forced, especially when obviously doesn't want to do it. The consequences of this choice also really lacks the emotional impact it probably should. Similarly with Riley, who was optimistic about being a mother. In the first game, Alex sacrificing herself was tragic because she was losing so much. Riley saying she 'has nothing to lose' again takes all the weight out of the sacrifice. Olivia is very much the obvious choice. Nobody in the story really likes her and she is dead set on it. She really does having nothing to lose. When the choices are as clear as this, at least for me, it totally takes away from the overall impact. In the first game, sacrificing Alex had obvious negative side effects, but so did choosing Clarissa. Sacrificing her meant betraying Michael etc. Both choices had serious negative consequences that were felt in the ending. In Ox2, not so much imo. Still loved the game as a whole though.

after about 7 minutes, I couldn't choose between Riley or Olivia. (I had Jakob stay with his dog) Alex said that her and her son will not have the best of lives, and Olivia was just a kid with so much ahead of her life Altho i chose Olivia eventually and honestly when Alex and friends showed up I teard up after just being shocked. I thought she couldn't escape for some reason. What a wonderful series
