The WORST PCs Linus Tech Tips Ever Built

What I learned from this video: Yvonne's parents are absolutely deserving of sainthood.

The key takeaway from all these "started from the bottom now we here" videos is just how much of a saint Yvonne is.

It would be amazing if you guys made a series about "remastering" old PC builds you did in the past where you build everything with modern hardware while preserving the original vibe of the builds (or the entire setup).

This cracks me up so bad. In my awkward teen years, I used to always see Linus on G4 and his early YT days. It's funny seeing how far things have come, changed... but Linus hasn't. Never change. Alex, Riley, Jake and everyone else are all great. You could do nothing and let all your employees host, work - but you still do it. One of the biggest things that has me coming back - the feel hasn't changed after all these years. It doesn't feel like some big commercial YT channel. Even though you're a multi-million dollar business now. Enjoy the same goofiness that has always been present- 10+ years now, shaking my head as you vertically build PCs, and the outlandish things you love doing with tech. Never change. PS. You never looked like a lesbian, don't let some stupid kids bully you on the internet.

Some of those early builds were like: "So you wanna be a player, but your PCs ain't fly?"

This is computer history, biopic, romantic comedy and ads all combined very wholesomely. It didn't need to be a roast, such a fascinating story!

Luke isn't just a "Self proclaimed Neo." This man should be called the, "Savior of LMG" for the amount of times he's saved the company from Linus

That Arctic Cooling GPU cooler was legendary. I had one installed on my old 9800SE (soft modded to 9800Pro) and it worked so much better than the stock cooler.

I love how as someone who got into PC gaming around the same time, I'm totally in the Luke camp of "I dig this". There's something about mid to late 2000's mods that just hit differently.

Moral of this ENTIRE video: Thank you Yvonne, and Yvonnes' parents. Without the tolerance of Yvonnes parents and the love of Yvonne, LTT never would've happened. 🙏🙏 Many thanks, many thanks.

The "pirating" software you saw was Nero cd burner. I still remember that darn UI. The top meter is either the read buffer if ripping a cd, or the write buffer if burning.

Yvonne being extremely supportive and her parents having the patience of saints has to be the best part of this video.

I like how Linus blends the ads into the videos instead of assuming I'll watch a 2min ad at the start of video(or the end which is a lot of faith in the viewers) for something I probably won't buy or even afford if I was interested.

Honestly, this is great. I haven't built PCs for long, but seeing what other people had to go through before my time, it's a humbling experience for me for sure

I identify multiple (similar) builds of my own during the same time. And that's why we LOVE Linus, you a pure pc enthusiast just the rest of us. Keep going man!!

I remember the black light setup, had a few of my own. Crazy looking back and thinking about what I thought was cool then. Of course back then there wasn't RGB lighting so we had to do what was available.

You can tell how supportive Yvonne is of Linus when she lets her bedroom be used as a workspace.
