  • 1. the majin thing is majin’s face on sonic I’m pretty sure 2. the “creepy cat girl” in speed highway? it was actually a scrapped spider girl which we don’t know the name of
  • @sonicroc237
Those creature from Red Mountain are souls trapped in Hell. There’s a mission in SADX that confirms this.
  • @desmabr
11:15 Sega Employee in 1990: "Trust me, we should put this random "Cope" on this stage, it's gonna be really funny 30 years from now"

Fun fact: The buff humanoid Sonic in Sonic CD at 7:40 is a reference to BatMan.
  • @jamesmeek3442
8:10 majin is the nickname of the guy who made it Also that's not a mustache, they're cheekbones (it was confirmed by the creator)
  • @sonc_da_headhog
I knew nothing about Majin but back in the 90's some kids were talking about "a very scary sonic in sonic CD".
  • That sonic CD creepy screen was made from one of sega's designers i believe probably trying to tell you to just have fun with sonic games or any other sega games
  • @Floweyyt-lu7yd
2:30 this area feels sort of like wet-dry world from Super Mario 64 but in sonic.
  • @Tails1sttfan
4:38 1.Tails doll is a spy robot doll thing made by egg man to win the grand prix 2.Tails doll in the IDW comics is portrayed as a spy 3.Tails doll is able to float because of his robotic insides like a hovering thing on him (Theory) 4.The Tails doll's head is probably tipped over because of his plushy design and maybe his head and body connection wasn't stuffed to much with cotton and that's why he's kinda tipped(Theory) 5.Tails doll's little antenna is probably a signal to detect if anyone is nearby or a wall or just for design(Theory
  • @sgaknfm
"that's pretty dark for a sonic game" bruh forgot that in the same game's sequel we saw a young girl being shot by the government 💀
  • Did you know that the original sonic.exe creepypasta was removed from the internet because of how bad and full of cliches it was, but the damage was already been done and thousands of copies of the original creepypasta were already been made.
  • Majin is the nickname of one of the Sonic CD programs and this strange Sonic is Sonic with the programmer's face superimposed on it
  • @smallbag123
"Sit back and relax" Dude HOW? This is too creepy for me to relax tbh 😭 1:12
  • About the ghosts in Red Mountain: According to one of SADX's missions, they're souls trapped in hell, which I think it's funny considering Red Mountain is part of Angel Island, the outside part is the exterior of Lava Reef and the inside part is a small part inside of Lava Reef but in a different location from the Sonic 3 & Knuckles (and Sonic Mania) Lava Reef Zone About Tails Doll: He is probably moved by the power of his antenna he has on his head, in the Archie Comics that antenna was represented as a gemstone that transformed Tails Doll into an ugly demon (what they did to by boy?) But in the games he is just an Eggman robot (plushie) made to distract Sonic that has an antenna on his head, and also they added a camera to his eyes as a spy robot in IDW (which is canon to the games), that idea may be inspired by the Archie Reboot (at least I think it was the reboot, I don't remember) since in there Tails Doll was a spy robot made by Eggman About the Sonic CD Screen: Sonic's face on that screen has nothing to do with Mario, that face is from the creator of that screen, Masato Nishimura (better known as Majin/Mazin), he created that screen as a fun easter egg, just like the other secret screens created by other devs that you can access in Sonic CD's Sound Test like the cute Sonic, the batman Sonic, Tails saying "See you in the next game", etc. "Why the creepy music?" As you pointed out in the video, the music on the JP version is a lot more upbeat, and that's the song that played originally on that screen, the screen was supposed to be a fun easter egg as I said, the message is literally just saying that the fun is endless with SEGA and Sonic's games "Why the face is so creepy?" Simple awnser, it's a common humor in Japan, those weird faces are part of what they think it's funny, that's shown in other games as well, there are games that have japanese exclusive things that are normally related to weird and funny looking faces because they think it's funny Fun Fact: Mazin was the guy who revealed the name of the mysterious level "R2" from Sonic CD, along with Naoto Ohshima (Sonic's original designer), that level was (and still is) a big mystery in the community and little is known about it, we always had almost no information about it other than some concept art from the original game and some sprites from the 2011 Remaster of Sonic CD, but Naoto Ohshima revealed that the level was going to be called "Ridicule Root" while Nishimura revealed that another name of the stage was "Dubious Dephts", and we also found out that the DA Garden from Sonic CD was R2's theme all this time About the Sonic Adventure weird character: Satoshi Okano, one of the artists of Sonic Adventure along with Yuji Uekawa (who does Sonic artworks to this day along with Yui Karasuno in the Sonic Channel website) who also worked as the character designer in Samba de Amigo (specifically in the first game for the Dreamcast), he is the creator of that girl, she is a spider, Okano actually created 2 characters around the Saturn and Dreamcast Era, that Spider Girl and a Dracula-looking bat called Fly the Vampire (also known as Fly the Bat) And actually, we DID see her again, she was featured in one of the comics published by IDW as an easter egg, in the Classic Sonic comic published to celebrate Sonic's 30th anniversary, in the story that Sonic learns how to drive, there is the exact same posters there are in Sonic Adventure with her on it About the Hyudoros: Yes, the Hyudoros were not created by Eggman, they are ghosts who live inside the Sandopolis pyramid, in Sonic Jam it's revealed that Dr. Eggman didn't created them, and also he worked very hard to lock them into that capsule Sonic ends up breaking and setting them free Nothing else is known about the Hyudoros, but the same applies to all the other Sonic ghosts tbh, the Boos, King Boom Boo, Pumpkin Ghosts, Su, Uh and Lah, the Baby Ghosts that appears in the Ghost Tale short made by Marza Animation, freaking Antonio from Sonic 06 LOL, the Mimic Ghost from Sonic Rivals 2, etc.
  • @urtecate8510
9:19 this is an unreleased character, I think her name was spider girl, and there is only one concept art of her with another chatacter which is an vampire like bat
  • @ablosch2452
9:11 The game’s field designer, Satoshi Okano, said that this was an unnamed female spider character.
  • @Estaguy24
Cool video you made, although you completely missed some spots I’d like to clear up for a better understanding: About the UFOs in Marble zone, during Sonic 1’s development, they originally planned to have the story being set up in some sort of a Fantasy world, the UFOs being the remains of that idea, in fact, Green Hill is the only fully realized zone from the fantasy world setting. The Majin/Mazin screen was already debunked as an attempt for antipiracy. Later reused as something to troll players. The name signed is Masato Nishimura’s nickname. For your "cat" posters in Sonic Adventure, it was a spider girl which concepts were shared recently. Also Sonic.EXE is just a fan creepypasta that was badly written. Also here’s a better creepy question, is Infinite Bits really Infinite?
  • @JailLei
That laugh in the song was a eggmen I think
