"I was taught only to use basic spells in combat; My master said that was enough for mages of this era." And here we see why, this is so far above anything we've seen modern mages pull off.
-
Remember that break dancing golem? This is him now.
-
I love how fight scenes in frieren has no unnecessary talking like pretty much every other animes.
-
And what's wild is that Himmel, Eisen and Heiter were equally as strong in their own ways
-
frieren casually summoning black holes, this is peak
-
Frieren: "I know how to beat you." summons Mimic both go into its mouth
-
That black hole animation was next level,it’s even hard to get a clear screenshot of it because of all the distortions it’s making on space. Really makes you wonder how strong the Demon King was if even someone like Frieren needed to get serious and have an entire party to defeat him
-
The fact that she has a spell that doesn't produce a natural phenomenon through mana but manipulate it as it is, is insane.
-
Frieren's hidden final attack was also her most vulnerable moment, guess now we know why Frieren was embrassed to talk about her weakness.
-
0:26 That is the best hair animartion ever. Like literally ever
-
If Freiren loses Anime of the Year to another Shonen, we riot.
-
Love this show so much. Madhouse put their heart and soul into these fights. Only 2 more Frieren Fridays left 😂
-
"Stand proud, Fern. You're strong" "FRIEREN SAMA, SAVE ME"
-
The visuals and chaos of this display are absolutely breathtaking. Imagine how this would’ve looked like during Frieren’s fiercest battles alongside Himmel in the others, or even to non-magic users. Himmel, Eisen, and Heiter are experts in their own right, but Frieren is a master of offensive magic and capable of feats and spells that would look impressive to other mages, and even nightmarishly otherworldly to those who don’t use magic.
-
What I like most is that the characters make minimal sound when their fighting and dialogue is usually inner thoughts.
-
I love how this anime feels like an innocently-colored child's fable book and then scenes like these pull the carpet from beneath my feet. Frieren is literally causing singularities and manipulating gravity. This anime is freaking awesome.
-
I'm all for a fight where the visuals, spectacle, and music just speaks for itself. No need for much to be said. Just two absolute monsters clashing and Fern doing her best to find an opening. Awesome to see Frieren having an opponent that requires her to give a serious effort.
-
I like how Clone Frieren summoned an entire shield to protect herself from Fern. I'm assuming its something to do with the fact that Fern really likes targeting all sides and Frieren can't outcast her.

I love the shot of Frieren with her emotionless stare as the wind blows her hair around and her ears tilted downward. Idk how it's possible to look so badass while also looking insanely cute at the same time.
