Cleaning and degreasing my Land Cruiser's dirty transmission and engine bay and making them look brand new! Today I completely degrease the filthy transmission and get it literally spotless using Super Clean degreaser and aerosol spray. This stuff works great for deep cleaning auto parts including engines, transmissions, axles, engine bays, etc and will melt off all the grease and grime! Now I can service this transmission, fix the leaks, and install low range gears in the transfer case without being covered in oil, grease, and grime! ‪@SuperEasySuperFast‬

I need to remember this the next time I'll clean my car - remove the engine, spray it down and reinstall. :')

It’s a Saturday morning, having a cup of coffee and staring at my DD 91 LC and my newly acquired 94’ LC train wreck and looking for inspiration. This is certainly the right channel. Your hard work and well sorted efforts are appreciated.

“I’m not looking to make it perfect” makes it look perfect!😂

May as well replace all your pressure sensors on the transfer case now too. They go bad and cause your CDL to not engage. There's lots of info on mud about it. Love the vids👌
  • Shockingly clean! Didn’t think there was any hope for that transmission grime 😂

Who ever installs a dirty part should never touch another vehicle ever
  • Subbed! Fellow Toyota guy here. I’m in the midst of rebuilding the engine and trans in my 2000 Celica GT-S. Going to use this method to clean all the oil grime up. Thanks!

great work. I'm humming along with you and my 94, built the harness like you as well with tesa and all that, thanks for the recommendations. One thing I am doing is having the steering box rebuilt with the 105 sector shaft. Common failure when offroad

Just use starting fluid. Spray on .watch it do its magic
  • Great video Ricky, such a satisfying job - and even to watch! Does the Super Clean come with the sick goggles too>! :D ;) Stacey and I both were like, "wow those fenders are green!" lol
  • You should be fine to support the trans on the pan, just use a block of wood in between the jack (according to the FSM).
  • I did the same with my mitsubishi eclipse. I also used two detail brushes just to get the spots that are hard to get
  • Looking good! Is it possible to leave the lines and cap? That way you can easily hook back up in future if need be. Keep up the good work!
