Rumours are swirling over why Invictus Games Foundation’s chief executive Dominic Reid abruptly quit the non-profit organisation.

With some commentators speculating that his departure is connected to Prince Harry controversy after he accepted the Pat Tillman Award for military service.

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue joined Sky News host Caroline Di Russo to discuss Prince Harry's former right-hand recent departure.

  • Esther has some misconceptions of Americans. As an American I can tell you that all Americans are not "my way or the highway." That is Meghan and it is NOT American. Americans know what rude looks like too.
  • @LStroud
There were no cultural clashes. The Royal Family and UK citizens were very gracious. Meghan's pathetic behavior and true personality changed every.
  • I am flabbergasted over Megan thinking she should be admired, what admirable thing has she done in her life?
  • @suecole3500
He got out because he didn’t agree with Harry accepting the award. And 73000 people signed a petition he knows Megan has spoilt the meaning of the games ,she has made it the Megan show.

From Hero to Zero! Self inflicted and well deserved!

💯% Agree! Highly suspect as to why he would step down when it was his idea to take the Invictus Games into winter games in Canada. Why wouldn't he see this through as it's only 7 months away, then resign/step down. I think the award was the straw that broke the camel's back for this Gentleman.
  • We veterans dont like harry. He did not create invictus. Another stole it from wwusa.
  • @noreenkhan113
She is a proven liar and a bully hence the reason why she's is disliked. It has nothing to do with culture.

It is insulting to have given the award to Harry and not the foundation, staff, volunteers and veterans who actually do the work, while Harry is just the mascot who just appears, smiles and self promotes himself and his wife.. The Invictus documentary helped Harry to try and complete his contract with Netflix to get his $$$$ also gained by using Archwell productions..but how much actually went to the Veterans??? The Invictus Games was the only thing he took away when he left the RF and now ruined that..Harry's wife never should have involved herself and only should have been an observer and let the veterans take center stage instead of making it the H$M show..
  • The previous two were forced out because they objected to methane being involved and the huge amount of money they required, I suspect this guy has had enough. Invictus will fold if they continue with them
  • @foretfleur
I honestly do not think the palace gives a toss about whether or not he has sold the film rights. The book has been completely dismissed as yet more of their lies, one sided, an infringement of privacy. So please do stop the 'palace is reeling' narrative, it is just not the case, like us they are bored of the ginger and his cringe.
  • If I were the CEO of Invictus and have even a shred of self-respect I would resign too.. the royal family has a large part to play in the early success of Invictus, and there is a whole team that is responsible in making the Invictus game to what it is now..he is a patron, lending his name to bring awareness to the games, not for self-promotion for him and his cringe cheap wife.. him accepting the Pat Tillman award indicates that Invictus is turning into the later.. he could have done the right thing by at least mentioning the key figures of Invictus by name, or bring them on stage with him, because if it were just him Invictus would not be what it is now, because let’s face it, haz is not the brightest or skilled in organising something big like this.. I think ppl would be more forgiving if he actually did that, but I guess his cringe wife managed to convince him that he’s special and the success of Invictus is all on him 🙄
  • It’s so odd that Harry said he was going to pass his patronage of Invictus to his son. He’s just a patron and not a Royal. How does he “pass down” that? What a silly man!
  • @kaxar6954
I don't blame Dominic for stepping down. Harry taking all the credit when he is just the patron. Dominic and the royal foundation should have been credited. A CEO usually gives several months notice before stepping down. Invictus G has lost its moral compass under Harry and Meghan.
  • @janelle6508
Actually it was reported that no one was interested in making it a cinematic film, just a TV movie, and Harry wouldn't get enough money from that. That's why he gave up his film rights.
  • @MW93249
Congratulations to the people who booed the carparkles at the awards and Dominic Reid for quitting, don't blame him 👏
