Wishing y'all a happy new year. Here's the first one for 2023. Let's make it a great one :)

Combined some Limp Bizkit songs (mostly) into one (relaxing) medley. Tuning for the songs is C# standard.

Also, I used Wes Borlands old PRS guitar for the video. He sold some of his gear on eBay a few years ago. This PRS was one of three (if I remember correctly) he used on the chocolate starfish recording/live cycle in 2001-ish.

You can see some photos of the guitar here:

  • Limp bizkit are a severely misunderstood band that were not ready to be taken seriously by the general public.

I have always loved Wes Borland's style. His melodies are so mesmerizing. Great work man 💯

It's funny. Back in the days, I was a Limp Bizkit hater. I loved Deftones, Tool and A Perfect Circle over all, and hated mostly the rest. 20 years later I am studying music production and I am realizing that some of the best guitar compositions of this era belong to Wes Borland, especially played clean. Thank you for the medley, a year later still rules.

1:14 Wes is severely underrated and when the vocals are taken out of the equation the Limp instrumentation truly shines!
  • Thanks for giving Wes his respect. He has always been such a huge inspiration for me on guitar. I always appreciated his unique style of playing.

I've recently been rediscovering my love for Limp Bizkit. I hadn't listened to them much since I was in high school (in the early 2000s), and I had totally forgotten how awesome Wes' riffs are. Glad to be getting reacquainted!

as a kid with a ruff childhood limp bizkit was my jam and i remember feeling the loneliness in the music and especially the delayed guitars made me feel understood, as strange as it may sound for some ppl here. i really love wes man
  • My inner world just resonates completely with Wes’s melodies.
  • I never realized how beautiful Boiler was underneath all of the heavier elements
  • Great job playing this Medley. You did it justice. Wes Borland created the most catchy riffs that made you feel like you’re in a different time.

It's just crazy to own that guitar!!! Those pictures are dope!! One of the best and highest selling metal CDs was written on that guitar!!! Amazing and justly so that you can play it perfectly
  • Wes Borland is so creative, I'm glad to see him getting the recognition he deserves. I loved limp biz kit as a kid then got into punk and hardcore and shunned them and now I kinda am reliving my love for them
