    Yeah I love Titanfall... T - Titanfall I - T - A - N - F _ A - L - L -

Titanfall 1 wasn't without its own flaws, but like the Uncharted series you covered, I feel like Titanfall 1 was a necessary evil which paved the way for Titanfall 2; the masterpiece

Nothing was more terrifying than getting to the drop ship to escape and seeing it blow up, then seeing an enemy titan come towards you with malicious intent.

One thing I think that was so much better titanfall 1 than in 2 was the immersion. Until you died, you STAYED in first person. Even when entering your titan or getting ripped out of it by an enemy titan. Everything just felt so visceral and intense, that I would often have to remind myself to breathe after a match.
  • I absolutely LOVED the exfils in Titanfall 1. It really hammered down how unbelievably skilled and valuable the Pilots were. Even though your side was losing, in most other games the match would just end, but in Titanfall the fleet risked delaying the retreat to send down a dropship to actually try to save and exfiltrate the Pilots. That's AMAZING world building by gameplay mechanics.
  • I think an underrated feature has to be the titan voices, the alert system and how it gives you suggestions on how to respond. Really helps sell the Titans and Pilots as fucken Pilots of Titans

def the most underrated part of Titanfall was the art style. Great military sci-fi aesthetic, it’s all functional and tacticool

The best part about the Battle of Demeter is that when you're on the Militia side where one of the 2 dropships get shot and collides with the other dropship. There were 3 actual players in each dropship with 3 different perspectives. So you either got to see the dropship that got shot flying towards you or you were inside of the shot dropship flying towards the other. Also the whole gameplay and cutscenes entirely taking place in the 1st person view also made the game super immersive.
  • Truly tragic seeing the fall of something so genuinely unique, beloved and actually awesome. Hopefully one day we'll get to see more of what respawn can do when given the creative freedom
  • No game has giving me the same feeling as Titanfall did. Pressing nuclear eject and seeing my pilot tapping those buttons and pulling out, while everything crashes around you, for the first time ever. man...

Always good to see Titanfall appreciation

The art direction of this game is legendary to me, I'm a massive fan of mechs in scifi, but most lean way too hard into the more anime style for my taste. So the designs in things like Battletech and Titanfall are so good for that grittier feel.
  • The Militia side of Demeter, with the crash landing onto the planet, the rush up the hill, then watching both fleets bail while you're left on the ground is still a goosebump moment for me Also Spyglass can, in fact, get it
  • I love that you mentioned the way that the Titans cameras boot up one at a time and how you can see the lines between the screens. Always made me really feel like a pilot in the cockpit.
  • “You are out numbered 3 to 1” I loved hearing that and subsequently proving both the computer and other players wrong. I almost canceled my preorder cause of how many times the game was delayed, but it was SO worth the wait. I badly wanted more substance to the game, and was full send into the universe it created

I like how TF1 is completely 1st person, it doesn't take you out of that P.O.V when performing an Execution/Termination or boarding your Titan like in TF2. I like the unique Executions that each of the Titan types have, Oger ripping off the arm of its enemy and beating them with it is awesome, Strider ripping out a pilot from the cockpit of their Titan and crushing them in it's hand, and the Atlas pulling a pilot out of the cockpit and tossing them aside like trash is pretty funny.
  • 10:08 halo odst has made me absolutly love the idea/design of orbital drop pods they are just so sick
  • @Mrairsoft683
I think the fact that the embark animations stayed first person on TF1 also adds to the immersion. Just a nice detail that adds to the realism of the sci-fi military theme of the game.

I swear I also remembered Titanfall 1 having a slide and so did a bunch of my friends. I actually revisited Titanfall 1 somewhat recently so it's funny this video came out after that, and it's funnier that Bricky also thought there was a slide. I'm gonna jus start calling it "The Slide Paradox". Sliding became such an intergral part of the moment in Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends that we just assumed it's always been there.
  • I've always preferred the art style of 1 over 2. My tf|3 wishlist would be: Maps and style of 1 Movement of 2 Gunplay of apex I loved the idea of Multiplayer-campaign that was dropped in 2, those intro cutscenes were the coolest
