One day when I was beating myself up about my past, the words came into my head " the more you focus on your mistakes, the less you focus on Me".

I have a sense of anxiety and dejection and agitation its so hard to pray....plese pray for me to have hope and trust and love of God.

I’ve set my cellphone wallpaper to the prayer for poor souls so I can read it as often as I can throughout the day to help the poor souls in purgatory.

soon god, like i told you, i will quit weed and cigarettes. it ll be hard but you will be with me. therefor i shall overcome another obstacle in my life. i know you will help me, because you already have helped to reduce the hate in my being, to a point im praying for my enemies. i hope you can truly bring them love and peace the way you have shown and brought to me. i now see and feel that you , holy god, are truly a being that is made 100 percent out of love and compassion. and if i deserve mercy, so do they. i also pray for the victims of my ways, that you can heal them and guide them back to your flock. because again, if i deserve it, so do they. in your name i pray and praise, amen.
