Though it would have seemed that Magnifico had won, Asha attempts to stop him but is easily overpowered as Magnifico blocks out the sky and immobilizes the citizens, preventing them from wishing on stars. While restrained by Magnifico, Asha calls on the people of Rosas for help in stopping him, and pretty soon, despite Magnifico trying to stop them from wishing, she manages to channel all the magic from everyone, free Star, and trap Magnifico inside his own staff.
With Magnifico defeated, his magic powers down as a new day dawns over the kingdom, with the citizens, Asha's mother included, being able to get their wishes back. Afterwards, Asha is soon confronted by a regretful Simon, who apologizes for telling Magnifico about Star and understands if she cannot forgive, but she does forgive him as she understands why he did it. As for Magnifico, he is still trapped inside the mirror that was made into his staff. Amaya has it locked away in the dungeon where it will be hanged on a wall as she becomes the sole ruler of Rosas.

The King literally had all the right to decide who gets their wish and who doesn’t, this movie tarnished that.

Asha was about to sing but king magnifico was trying to kill her but the people are helping her to sing this wish on their glowing hearts and then the star is free and the king magnifico was trapped in the tiny mirror.

I know that some people may not like that they defeated him with the power of song and the power of friendship, but I personally don't mind it and I even like it, it's just a pity that Magnifico is not a real villain, there is no queen as a villain and the very concept of a villain was ruined in this movie
