What can we ALL do to build positive attitudes to mental health in the South Asian community?
Whether or not you are South Asian/suffer from mental health issues, the chances are you may know someone in the community who does. Despite mental health being a dominant issue in society today, South Asians face complex limitations in acquiring help. To raise awareness of people who very rarely (if ever) reach out for help, we would be very grateful if you could share this on your social media.

The documentary features disheartening lived experience from a myriad of people spanning different ages, genders and backgrounds. Even if you’re remotely curious, it can provide an in-depth look at something we NEVER see on TV or the media in general. Positive solutions are outlined by Professor Dinesh Bhugra of Kings College London, Dr Tina Mistry of the Brown Therapist Network and Kiran Manku of The 1928 Institute in London.

The generous contributions of each interviewee’s time have helped create small stepping stones for change within the South Asian community. We hope going forward that this is the beginning of long-term positive change in attitudes. We welcome you to be a part of making that happen. Thank you.

Need an open dialogue immediately, we are facing a detrimental future of broken minds and all I can say is it's a shame. We're becoming lost souls waiting to die alone.
