  • I 100% relate to so many things. I’m on sort of a gap year myself, and I totally feel how the lack of structure makes you even more likely to get in a slump. Also totally get the rushing videos and perfectionism bit. For me, what has helped is ironically planning less and doing more. Deciding: okay I’m going to do X every day for 1 month, and sticking to it, no matter how small it is (eg language learning for at least 15min). Whilst scheduling in compulsory things like classes that get me out of the house haha. You got it Anna!! 💪🏻
  • Sometimes i feel like over-planning can stop you from getting started because you said you struggled with perfectionism, i was stuck in the same phase were i would plan every single thing and just never start because i wanted things to be perfect from the get go. I deleted notion for that reason and decided I would stop planning, trust the process and simply start living in the moment taking one day at a time and doing things that would keep me happy and also allow me to step out of my comfort zone from time to time. I bought a new journal and wrote down how i felt at the end of each day, what i did or did not do, how i felt that day, just dump anything that was on my mind and just kept things moving. I feel like some people are really cool they just don’t plan at all, they get an idea or something they wanna try out and they just go ahead and do it. if they don’t like it anymore they switch it up. Feels so easy to live that way sometimes. Although planning is not a bad thing to do. Just another perspective that living spontaneously and in the moment makes me feel more happier now than being stuck on the future and following a plan all the time.
  • Gurl how are you so relatable yet inspiring!? 😫Like I relate to all the procrastination moments you have all too well but also I wish I was this productive and organised to get rid of those moments or atleast cover them up😅.
  • I love how you are documenting your journey through your gap year, hope to see more of the dream life diaries.
  • i completely get how you're feeling, i took a gap year during covid and it rlly does affect you suddenly having no structure whatsoever. some things that helped me were getting a job (which gave me structure), doing online classes (again for structure) working out regularly to start my day and just self-care >>>> I believe in you <3
  • @maja.bb38
I love how self-aware you are, it's like I'm not doing that because of that and this is because I'm like this... I just love it ❤ you're videos make me so calm and reassured!
