This! This is finally the sort of compilation I’ve been searching for. A quiet tavern, for us weary travellers who after a long, tiring ride just want to sit peacefully in front of the fire with a mug of mead while we gently dose off. Other videos like this are great too, but sometimes the music is a bit too rowdy, too upbeat. This is just utterly perfect

Every time I watch it, I'm captivated by the magic of that era and feel a desire to better understand the world in which people of those times lived. I was having a hard time with anxiety and intrusive thoughts acting up in the last couple of days, but as soon as this started playing (not even clicked it, it just came to me by autoplay), my mind sort of calmed down. I now feel like a traveller on a perilous journey, happening upon a small tavern not marked on any map, and finally being able to rest from travelling and fighting for a while. I will definitely mark this tavern on my map. Hantanye lyen, nilmonya.
