One day you are turning a bread bakery into a house for your family while you are being a gardener on Stephanie’s Chateau Diaries YouTube channel and the next you own your own chateau. And while Stephanie and Philip are trying to decide which bed looks better in a room, you are having to figure out how best to install the floors and put a roof on it. But I bet you wouldn’t have it any other way because when all is said and done there will be no mold or cement on the stone walls and you will know where everything is including where the noggins are. Congrats on having 500,000 of us invading your life.

I really don't know why i watch this every day. Maybe because it is just so relaxing watching other people work. Maybe because I like old beautiful buildings saved - especially in a world where destruction and ugliness has become so common now.

Watching the steel beams get painted was surprisingly satisfying. Seeing rusty steel get cleaned up. That’s apparently entertainment. Who knew?
