Hd rumble is actually so good! You don't even notice it but it is utilized so much. For example, there is hd rumble when you swim in ink in Splatoon
  • Back in the Wii U era, people COMPLAINED about the background music, the stupid mii’s, etc. Nintendo wanted the switch to feel more mature.

the size of the switch makes sense considering it needs to be big enough to show large console games on the screen, where a game boy had games made for it that accommodated for the screen size, but the switch accommodates for large screen games

i don’t think i’ll ever have as much fun as i did with my 3DS walking around grocery stores and seeing how many coins i made to use in games, or seeing i walked by a stranger in the store and got a new character to battle with.

I agree with basically everything you said but I just want to say that in my opinion, the sideways joycons is my favorite addition to the Nintendo switch. Having 2 controllers attached to a console with good 1st party games that (almost) always have good multiplayer is awesome! I can just ask someone if they want to play smash bros with me without having to bring anything extra.

All the points in the video were great! The next nintendo console NEEDS to have some more personality. I really hope at the very least it has menu music, as hearing all the different songs for the menus was actually one of my favorite things on the 3DS and the Wii U!
  • Switch online subscription is the worse thing ever....the games alone are already hella expensive....and yet we need to pay to play online???

ACNH deserved a few more updates and I also wish they’d had more dlc for new Pokémon Snap. ACNH also has a big problem with multiplayer though. Going to someone else’s island is soooo annoying if others are there too. I hate getting stopped every time someone comes or leaves ACNH uses amiibos too but it’s the cards and not as much the figures. Still deserved a mention though.

The lack of legacy content is one of the switch’s biggest missed opportunities. This is the perfect console to port older games to due to being portable. I think the NES and SNES selections are good, but N64, Game Boy, and GBA games are lacking and we’re getting those games at a snails pace. The lack of GameCube and Wii games besides the once in a while remaster sucks

I think we can all agree that the switch NEEDS to have to the charger output on the top instead of the bottom. Especially for the people that charge it and rest it on their stomach.

i legit didnt even know the IR sensor was used in ANY game beyond the initial party game that focused on it. I actually recently remembered it even existed and thought "wait...did any game use that?" HD Rumble at least gets used in Mario Party....ok not much better condition but it got used!
  • I think that the next system would evolve the switch as much as tears of the kingdom compared to breath of the wild, not removing the switch idea or be stuck with the same thing but more powerful. I think they will have it as a hybrid and be backward compatible but have a completely new branding unlike the Wii U, I proposed the name ‘Nintendo Attach & Switch’(It will make sense later), the switch part explaining it’s backward compatibility and hybrid. I think they can have a top slide rail for attaching accessories like an second screen or a camera. Best of all, it won’t increase the cost of the system by really much. I think the second screen can be attached when portable and detached when docked, creating an experience like an Wii or DS. They can also have a camera set including a front and two rear camera, also with an microphone, this allows for AR games or games that detect your body part. This can fill the missed opportunity of the switch like dual screen and AR.

Super Mario Wonder was just announced. Your 2d Mario is set to come out this October!

in game builder garage, the ir camera nodon could say something like "you found a use for me?" so even nintendo knows.

I really miss the streetwalk function from the 3DS and all the mini games in it. I really liked that army game and also that gardener with all those flowers. After walking a day with my 3DS, I was always excited to see how many people I got. Once, I remember seeing a couple who came in my shop, in my 3DS streetwalk !! I immediately recognised them and I kinda wish I could have seen them again to talk to them about video games >< It really is sad to see all those functionalities disappear, having our own Mii interact with others, that poll thing. Also, on my 3DS, I had bought some Zelda themes. If only they could make those things port over to Switch.
