Welcome back Guy's,,, were up in the hills of Tyndrum, Scotland! and we are on an Adventure! with the hunt for Treasure!!!. we know there is a source of gold being sent down the river and we carry on the search, moving up hill towards the mountains! we found some excellent drop zones from the latest flooding, one of the wettest on record with levels of the scale! Today was the first time in 8 months the water was down and we jumped at the chance to get on it. The prospecting trip was a success, with lots of chunky flakes & fines to be panned from the crevices & cracks, well worth the Trek. Happy days all round. Thanks Guy's...

    I've always assumed that there are multiple sources of the gold from up in the gorge above the village all the way down to near the mine road. Talking of which I hear the mine isn't prospering. Hope they pull it round.

    Nice one Lewis. I'm always a student of the age-old question "what to pack?" Not being able to carry everything (a truck load!) , I always find it tricky to know what to take! I notice this time your not on the sluice, but you did pack the small pump - is the small one something you always take - or did you have an inking you'd need it for this one ? Any other tips on this would be hugely welcome (oh and waders is always a tough one to decide too) Thanks
