I've always assumed that there are multiple sources of the gold from up in the gorge above the village all the way down to near the mine road. Talking of which I hear the mine isn't prospering. Hope they pull it round.

Nice one Lewis. I'm always a student of the age-old question "what to pack?" Not being able to carry everything (a truck load!) , I always find it tricky to know what to take! I notice this time your not on the sluice, but you did pack the small pump - is the small one something you always take - or did you have an inking you'd need it for this one ? Any other tips on this would be hugely welcome (oh and waders is always a tough one to decide too) Thanks
