Clear Stamper Not Working | How to Prep & Use a New Stamper | Nail Stamping

Thank you for this tip! Here's another tip for anyone still struggling. When I started stamping, I couldn't pick up an image to save my life! Blue film was off, I was sure I was woking very fast, I tried different scraping directions, rolling vs straight up and down techniques with the stamper, and tried all different amounts of pressure. Nothing worked! As a last resort, I tried priming my plates! I figured the blue film could be leaving a residue. I used dish soap and a nylon bristled scrub brush and went over the plates for a few seconds each, then rinsed and dried them very well. Shockingly, I could pick up an image the first time and every time after that! Now it's the first thing I do with all my plates. I've never had any damage or scratching from the nylon brush. You only have to do it once if you're struggling to pick up an image. Just clean the polish off with acetone after that. Hope this helps someone else!

Once again, you have saved me! Remember...I got nail stickers from Amazon and I didn't know how to apply them. Now, you showed me how to make my stamper work. I live in a tent and didn't have hot water to use, but I used cold and some dishwashing liquid and "voila".... It is sticky and clean and working once again! Thank you so much!! 💅👍🏼😀
