Super Smash Bros Melee's Impossible Completion List.

This has been a huge project in the making and is currently my favorite video I have ever made. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. This has been in production since January of 2024 and finally all of the parts have come together so sit back and relax and enjoy the video.

Imagine if the message for 1,000,000 matches was "Keep going! You're halfway there!" just to troll the player.

Reminder that the 100,000 vs match message tells you straight up "go outside"

You can actually get a milestone message for completing Event Match 51 without losing a life

you don't even need 4 controllers to get mewtwo faster, just plug your one controller into each port to select the characters, then let the match play out.

Never going to forget the time when my brother was showing me the Master Hand glitch for the first time, then did Event 51 with Master Hand, beat it and then saw the message "You beat Event Match 51, The Showdown, with no falls!" and I'm like "THE GAME ACKNOWLEDGES THAT!?"

I know this sounds made up but I erased my melee save as a kid once, loaded melee again an got the Birdo trophy immediately. (you start out with one random trophy and that happended to be Birdo)

Remember when Game Informer claimed you could unlock Sonic & Tails by getting 20 KOs in Cruel Melee?

When melee came out it was unlike anything else I played at this time, the music, atmosphere, and lore it deserves to make you think about life and uniqueness and progress. Definitely a very well crafted series.

I remember looking at what was required for getting every trophy a long time ago, probably a few years after the game came out. When I saw the list of match bonuses, I knew I was never going to have every trophy.

The thing about Melee's completion absurdity is that it's not really intended to be done in one go, but to be done over time, that's how you get 1000 vs matches, just by playing a lot. Having said that, the Mewtwo requirement is unexcusable

I didn’t play Melee back in the day, but god damn this makes the other Smash game 100% completions look like a cakewalk. Also fun fact, there were actually two trophies only available from an event in Japan and can now only be obtained by hacking (the Mario & Yoshi and Samus Unmasked trophies)
