I Bought Land... (My Dream Property)

Thank you SO MUCH for all your wonderful comments ❤ Just to clarify: I'm not going to stop travelling or creating adventure films, but I do hope to find a way to split my time between travel (which I still love), and my new home (which I now also love). Very grateful to all of you for being here and making this dream possible. You are by far the best community I could have ever wished for.

I'm an American and I know that area of Poland really well. My grandparents are from there and I have family there still. The Poles have been a brave and stalwart people who fought to recover from WW II and then only to live under the boot of Communism. They have reinvented themselves yet again, building a strong economy, saving their cultural assets for future generations, developing modern ecological policies, and best of all, saving their family farms while here in the U.S. our farmers are being run out of business by corporate interests. There are large communities of Poles here in the U.S., just not in wilderness areas, which is what you were really looking for. The Carpathians were the absolute best choice for you. Open space. Fresh air. Four seasons. Uncrowded. I know that you will love it there. xoxo Suzi

I'm Spanish and I have been to Poland Krakow, Zakopane and all this area and I personally loved it !! I think Poland is such a beautiful country full of lovely people and places to visit with a lot of history 💖 I think anyone on their right mind would be happy to live in such a beautiful place full of woodlands and mountains :)

I also feel that Carpathian Mountains from Romania are the most magical mountains I’ve seen on the planet from Europe to Asia.Good luck with your project.

I cannot express how happy I am for you, Eva. The region is truly beautiful. I am envious of the lush greenery and wild berries. On your Hwy. 50 journey in N. Nevada, you came within 2 miles of my property, so you know how much less green it is here. But the desert has its own beauty and I feel fortunate. I wish you all the peace and contentment you deserve.

You are living my dream! I also emigrated from Poland (but to the US) and am looking to buy land back in Poland now as well (around Gdansk however). I had a grudge as well and have since fallen completely back in love with Poland. Congratulations!

Poland is such an amazing country, such lovely warm and open people. If any person need a recommendation where to go on holiday I always say Poland. Your country has history, nature, kind people and its so easy to reach for all Europeans

I have followed Eva for about 3 years. When l first saw the video when she stayed in that cabin her friends owned. I thought then that her emotions about the place in winter were magical. Congratulations Eva!

23 years ago when I moved to the UK from South Africa I swore I would never go back. When I met my husband (also South African) I told him " just understand, I am never going back to Africa" And yet, today, my parents are driving around looking at land for us to buy and build a homestead in South Africa 🤷‍♀️ Never say never. I think the world is slowly learning what a beautiful country Poland is, and how strong and proud the Polish people are. Being Polish is something to be proud of.

The thing about land is this: if you come to a point that you change your mind, need to leave, whatever, you can sell it and try something else. On the other hand, you can stay. And that is what you seem to have in mind. So, set off and enjoy Carpathia.
