For the past 10 years, I have only worn Vibram five-finger shoes everyday (except for the rare rainy day in Phoenix, AZ when I wear my uncomfortable, 15 yo pair of Pumas). I use them for work, hiking, running, and casually about town. Lately, their styles and prices have moved beyond my comfort range. This video gives me hope for an affordable, more traditional looking barefoot experience. Thank you!

Thank you for your research and reviews. Iโ€™m loving my 18 month transition to barefoot shoes. I work in a corporate environment so itโ€™s challenging to find suitable non sneaker-esque shoes for work. But happy to see movement with barefoot shoe companies!

Been able to support a couple of barefoot startups on kickstarter. It really is an exciting time for barefoot shoes. Just hope thereโ€™s some more versatility with soles soon, would love to have a barefoot dance shoe.

I absolutely love all my five fingers!! I have been wearing them for years. I use them for casual, hiking kayaking just about anything that doesn't require a boot. I honestly do find them a bit pricey, but at the same time I think I've gained balance agility and the more comfortable gate when I walk. I noticed when I have to go back to boots for a long time my hips hurt. That doesn't happen in my five fingers ever.

Can you do a review for those of us who stand all day at work, I really suffer with sore feet, ankles and knees from standing for up to 8hrs a day at work as I'm sure alot of people do in retail, hospitality and nursing.

I bought a pair of whitin trail shoe in 2020 and wore it for four years, I only mow in them now as they have blown out. but 10 dollars a year got me into barefoot shoes.

Thanks for your videos! Nice quality and good information. Could you recommend some shows for long hospital shifts?

I recommend TSLA Trail Running Shoes. I've had mine for nearly 3 years and use them for the gym and everyday tasks. They're less than $40.

I used to have a pare of five-fingers that I wore only while hiking. Ditched them when I moved for some reason... :( Just got another pair and am wearing them almost everywhere. Was wearing flip-flops, but your feet get dirty... Going to get a few more five-fingers for different occasions - they're amazingly comfortable and now that i've really discovered barefoot shoes, I'll stick with them until my feet finish spreading back out. :)

Iโ€™m a Vibram Five Finger fanatic and my V-Trek shoes are my go to shoes for every day wear. So far theyโ€™ve cost me 33 cents per day. Thatโ€™s according to my formula of Price divided by days used. Not days used divided by price. Apart from your mix up with your formula this is an awesome vid. Thanks.

I have the Hykes Pinnacle and love them, also love that they donate a pair with each purchase.

I had the xero prios but they are not wide went up half size and still not wide enough and the uppers did not last long enough. I got a pair of Sagauros and they are much wider my feet love the room they have the strechy top is nice I like and don't mind at all the look of water shoe.

I switched to barefoot shoes about 2 years ago , and i LOVE Vibram's soles (for their barefoot models of course) ! My first barefoot shoes were Furoshiki by Vibram, i also have KSO eco, and generally i feel that they give feeling of being barefoot more than other brands. I also like Vivo barefoot, they have good thin soles, they are light, flexible and have cool designs (not very cheep though).
  • @TheSandkastenverbot
I have tried several minimal shoes and the most comfortable and versatile were also the cheapest: Saguaro. I think they're especially great if you like a secure but not restrictive fit. My Xero Mesa Trail 2 are the total opposite. Their fit is far too imprecise (too much space) for me
  • @JetSe77er
I'm primarily interested in barefoot shoes because they're so packable. I would love to see a video on the most packable/travel barefoot shoes.

A few years ago ago i went to a podoloog , i had to bring several shoes, and all soles where to flexible for my feet, i had to buy a shoe with thick and foam soles, and in the few years a have a support sole init it let it adjust a few times, because inhad more feet problems. Now i had the samen, i though again adjusting, i gonna try a barefoot shoe. Already used the silicon toe thingies. I use them now 1,5 week and yestrday and today i started walking outside with them after used to them. I do already feel i dont need any adjustment to the soles, but i did not wear my Xensible shoes as long as i have the barefootshoes. I already love them my feet feel better. And then i stumled onti your YT chanel for strenghtening the ankle , hips, feet. ๐Ÿ‘Œ
