A mother will do anything to protect her child. She died a hero. RIP.

I don’t care what anyone says, she’s a hero for putting her son before herself, and she carried Glee
  • @sssarah.v
"cory found our girl" broke my fucking heart
  • Josey will always be able to say, “My mom is a hero.” I can only hope as he gets older he doesn’t feel any guilt or ever blame himself for her death.
  • She sacrificed her life to save her son's life. It's really hard not having a mother around to see her own kid growing up which is heartbreaking. Rest in Peace Naya, gone but not forgotten. Your spirit and your legacy will live on forever.

She died as: A daughter, A friend, A celebrity, A mum..., And a hero to her son... (and to us all) Edit: thanks so much for the likes and I dunno what happened in the comments/replies whatever!
  • Rip Naya , we all go in the same place at the end,you went there to soon😥😥
  • She died with honor and distinction in saving her son’s life at the cost of her own, there’s no greater love than those whom lay down their lives for others and she did, Naya chose to save her son at the risk of her life and I honor that and greatly respect that. Naya Rivera died a hero and with the utmost character, unwavering faithfulness that saved her son’s life.

It’s so heartbreaking and hard to imagine her last moments trying to save her son and probably knowing she won’t make it but also praying he would be safe and found before anything happens to him.
  • She's just... amazing. Saving his life with hers. A true mother.
  • I hate that title. It sounds like her death is entertainment
  • I think she might have gotten cold shock when she saved her son, she passed out, and her son couldn’t do anything. She was so amazing, especially the part she played in glee, Santana and Brittany helped so many people come out and be proud of who they are. She won’t be forgotten
  • How heartbreaking! She saved her baby, but couldn’t save herself!
  • @tikihead
I wish news outlets would stop playing that clip of "If I Die Young" in every video. It's unnecessarily heartbreaking and kind of takes away from the fact that she sung it for Cory--not as some eerie sign or prophecy.

her performance of "if i die young" hits so much harder now that shes gone

I lost my father when I was 4, and I want nothing more than to hold Naya’s child and tell him it’s gonna be okay… No child deserves to go through that, and going through the same thing has ruined my life. I genuinely hope that her son won’t feel the same. To everyone reading, please, love your parents before they’re gone.
  • Imagine having to tell a little boy that their mommy wasn’t coming back... my heart breaks. May God bless this family and help them with anything they may ever need. May the beautiful Naya rests in peace.
  • I'm sick to my stomach over this. I was expecting a miracle for once this horrific year but as I get older I'm seeing less and less miracles. I don't think there's any miracles happening anymore. EDIT *I read everyone's comments and many of which did the proverbial 'restored my faith in humanity' so many beautiful people out there. My love for humanity is very strong I truly love you each and everyone of you and wish for us all survive the rest of 2020. I don't know if miracles exists anymore but I heard your stories and I believe you. And I'll put trust in the people that there is always hope. Take care of yourself and each other. Rest in paradise Naya we will see each other one day in the place that's beyond the rainbow. Godspeed*
  • Watched her final role for a voice acting as Catwoman in Batman The Long Halloween. It is a real shame besides her other work, I really liked her bit in the movie. Wish there was more. RIP
  • naya protected her son no matter what. she will always be remembered as a true hero 😔
