Ohio State and Wisconsin play for the Big Ten championship in 2014. One side had a lot of fun. Another side did not.

Almost 7 years later and I’m still going back to watch this. As an Ohio state fan this is the most satisfying piece of game film of all time

I only got one thing to say. I want Gus Johnson commentating every Ohio State Game for now on.

This is arguably the greatest beating in football history. Remember this is the Big 10 championship game with a trip to the first ever playoff game on the line. Wisconsin was a great team and they just got dismantled.

This film has been rated NR-17 for its strong brutal violence. Viewers discretion is advised.

There has never been a more dominant 3 game stretch vs top programs than vs Wisconsin, Alabama , and Oregon . In ncaa history
  • damn Urban really needs to set the difficulty higher when he plays NCAA 13 lmao

This game is still unbelievable to me.  One of the most well played games I've ever seen.

You know, Devin Smith made Cardale look really good lol. He made some mad adjustments to the ball.

love how after this game everyone said the Big Ten rigged the game to get a team in the playoff, but then they beat Alabama and rolled Oregon in the National Championship and all the haters are gone.

Can Gus Johnson please commentate all Buckeye games from now on? 😂🙏🙏
  • You guys were clearly the better team that night and were clearly the best team almost all year long. A college football championship for osu was clearly deserving. -A Wisconsin fan

Ohio State was a 4 point underdog against Wisconsin....Do you think Vegas sports books had that wrong? Then, Alabama started as an 11 point favorite against the Buckeyes but the line settled around Alabama by 8.5. Then Oregon was around a 9 point favorite which dropped to around a TD difference by game time. Now, I'm no expert...well, I am, but that isn't important. I'd just like to say that in total, at game times, Ohio State was a total underdog by 20.5 points (depending on who you asked) and won those 3 games by a total of 88 points. I think that Ohio State was underrated just a little bit, don't you? Don't fool yourself, Ohio State even beat Alabama much worse than the 7 point victory showed. In Ohio State's last 3 games, none of their opponents were big, strong, or fast enough to deal with Ohio State. AND JUST THINK...Baylor and TCU were pissed because Ohio State jumped into the #4 spot. Baylor and TCU both had very good teams and very good seasons...but no team in the country besides Ohio State could have beaten Wisconsin 59-0. Wisconsin entered that game with the #4 scoring defense and the #2 defense overall. The Buckeyes did score 7 points on defense, but still...that means that the Bucks put 52 points on maybe the best defense in the country and kept the best RB in the country quiet, dealing him his worst game of the season and giving up ZERO points. People still have this Ohio State championship as a "Cinderella story". NEWSFLASH to all haters...Ohio State beat a team with a top 3 defense and the best RB in CFB 59-0. Then they backed that up by beating Alabama much more convincingly than the 7 point victory showed...after that though, against Oregon, Oregon scored 7 points after just 2:39 into the game. After that, Oregon's high powered offense scored just 13 points in the games final 57:21. If ever was a team just simply better than all others, it was the 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes. And they did it while everyone in the country watched and believed ESPN idiots instead of WATCHING the Buckeyes play. I promise to all non-believers and people that want to call this all a huge fluke, that if you guys had watched the Buckeyes play this season, lots of you would have said that Ohio State was the favorites to win it all. Ohio State has had Heisman winners, won multiple national titles in their 100+ years and overall may be the best team in the history of college football....and this 2014 Buckeye squad had a great defense plus the best offense by the numbers that they had EVER had in their entire history. People shouldn't have been surprised at all...but most of you just watch ESPN and listen to their so-called analysts way too much. Ohio State was 9th in total offense and scored just 3 fewer TD's than Oregon did on the season. Ohio State was 19th in total defense (which is calculated by total yards given up) but faced 100-200 more plays than the teams that finished ahead of them in that category. The big difference though is that ESPN had the entire country believing the Big Ten was weak...when all was said and done, the Big Ten was probably better than even the SEC as a conference. If everyone had done a little research and listened to ESPN less, a lot of people would have considered Ohio State the favorites going into the playoffs. Stats aren't everything, but they don't lie....and there is no possible way to prove what conference plays the best football. The majority of CFB fans thought the Big Ten shouldn't have even been included in the "Power 5" conferences...but the better teams from the Big Ten showed the Big Ten's true strength in bowl games. DON'T LISTEN TO ESPN. One SEC writer said that Ohio State was the 8th best team in the SEC (if they were an SEC team, of course). That man is still pulling his feet out of his mouth.
  • This game always brings a smile to my face. I have never seen a more complete victory by Ohio State against an opponent ranked as high as Wisconsin.
  • @yeetmaestro575
Ohio St violated several written laws from the Geneva Accords in this game.
