IBM Selectric III carrier/carriage will not advance forward

Letters / spacebar do not advance the carrier forward, and cannot manually push it forward either. If I keep the 10/12pitch font lever in a middle position however it will allow manual moving forward.

    Escapement is frozen, dead key maybe. Hard to see what is happening, could be sticky parts not releasing.
