  • In some theaters Ryan Reyonds had a message for the crowd in the theater, specifically parents who brought their kids thinking it was a kids movie. He said if you brought your kids here you are the worst parents ever. Of course he said it as a joke but i had a coworker who had never heard of Deadpool and had his 10 and 8 year old kids with him. He left pretty quickly but watched it on his own later. He loved it

Ryan Reynolds completely put his heart and soul in bringing Deadpool to life.

The reason no one could tell him where Francis was is because they all knew him as Ajax. The part of the movie that shocked me the most was the actress who played Lou, Leslie Uggams is also a renowned singer. I didn't expect the language that came out of her. One thing people don't notice is that the fight took place on a S.H.I.E L.D. helicarrier.

Stan Lee. (The old guy playing DJ) While he didn’t make all the movies, he co-created a large number of Marvel’s classic characters (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, erc.) in Marvel Comics. He was a writer and eventually became both the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher of Marvel Comics. He’s been the “face” of Marvel since the 1960’s. He has a cameo in 98% of films using Marvel characters as an honor. So much that it was a thing in itself. Fans around the world looked forward to seeing Stan on the screen. That is, until he passed. RIP, Stan. You’ll be loved forever.

Green lantern is a DC character not Marvel. It was making fun of Ryan Reynolds turn as Green Lantern 😂

I have not seen or met a single person who doesn't love this movie it's such a perfect movie in so many ways.

The fight between Deadpool and Ajax is an interesting one. Both have increased strength, dexterity and reflexes. While Ajax can't feel pain, he can be injured and killed. But that means he can fight at the top of his ability until he dies, or is injured so much that his body just can't perform. Deadpool, however, can feel pain, but injuries will only slow him down briefly. In the short run, Ajax has an edge against Deadpool, but in the end, Deadpool can wear him down. Ajax's only option is to rush him and overwhelm him to stun or knock him out, then incapacitate him in some way so he can't move.

"I can't even imagine kids coming to this movie." Yeah, that's why it's rated R.
  • Stan The Man Lee... His cameos in these films are legendary. He created the characters, wrote the original story lines for them... He's the comic book king. RIP Stan

I actually was at a showing of Blade where a single mother and her young son had to be escorted out of the theater. Mom was shouting at the screen like she was at home and the young boy was so hopped up on Jujubes he was all over the place. He seemed to have no idea what was going on, on screen. And that young mom proved to the whole audience, just because you can have kids doesn't mean you should. But because the disturbance went on for so long, the theater handed out free passes to those of us who stayed till the end.

Since Ryan got them to let him make this "R" rated I don't think there were so many YOUNG children at the cinemas. 😄
  • Start with Iron Man.....If you are doing the MCU Journey please do them in release order and be sure to watch the scenes that take place during and after the credits. Some movies have multiple end credit scenes. Looking forward to watching with you.

As a long time Deadpool comic, game and of course movie fan, it is GREAT to watch people who don't know what they're in for when they first experience DP.
  • Deadpool was the highest grossing R rated movie of all time definitely not a kids movie. Now it is number 4 with Deadpool 2 at number 3, followed by Oppenheimer at 2 and joker at 1
  • @shepherdsrkool
One of my favorite movies. Don’t forget with Marvel movies there are always end credits.
  • @jayvansickle7607
I assure you…no one thought this was a kids movie in the theater. Everyone was pretty shocked (and pleased) when Disney bright it over to Disney+, as well as Logan.
  • @huldradraco
Definitely do them in release order. Foremost because the whole series is connected and tells a story from start to finish, but also because many of the movies have HUGE spoilers to movies later in the release order. So you might accidentally get told that some main character died before you watch the movie that shows that, or get a huge plot reveal by accident. So definitely go release order.

One thing you have to remember with any Marvel movie - is to wait until the very end of it - during credits or after credits - as there are always extra bits added in for you to see on them . . .
