This place is so chaotic it needs its own tv show

Never ceases to amaze me how many drivers seem to think driving fast into standing water is a great idea

as a mechanic, it's very painful watching someone try to start their car after it's been hydrolocked 😵

I have a hard time working out if these are locals who have been through before, or strangers chancing their arm. I do know that if it was me seeing a huge body of water in front of me, I would turn around and take the 4 mile diversion which, according to Google, only adds 8 minutes to the journey !

Even with the warning, I was not expecting the crash the way it happened lol. That was comically tragic.

This is the best one yet... Crash whilst being towed, bloke getting it in the ear from his missus and Ben losing his phone... Fantastic stuff

this is legit more entertaining than 99% of tv

What an absolute comedy of errors this episode was! I'll think i'll visit here for a holiday. Endless fun and laughs!

If only there was some sort of competency based test that people had to take before getting in a car.

Wow that's acomplete abdication from all steering functions from the Clio driver! Also I absolutely love that people sound concerned when a phone is lost and generally chuckle and have a good time when a car is totaled.

The crowd made me smile....finding joy in tragedy is a way to keep peace....
  • It never ceases to amaze me that people choose to take £30k cars through this at 20mph and wonder why they get water in the engine??? And in front of loads of people?? Are they insane??
  • I enjoy how the whole neighborhood is posted outside cheering & stuff like it’s a show 😂😂

I think the best way to cross the flood is to go full speed then turn off the engine. Once you pass the flood turn the engine back on.
  • Love the optimism of the uninitiated in basic driving skills. To the BMW driver I take my hat off to you, I bet you use your indicators too!
  • Presumably Rufford near Ollerton - ford is or was usually just a couple of inches deep. I had been through it many times while visiting the park. That was in the days before the Black Walk was redeveloped, because my mother liked to visit the place of her birth. One very dark and rainy night in 1971 while cruising around with a girlfriend in my ancient Minivan, we went through the ford discovering too late it was in flood. I had expected it to be a bit deeper and had taken the precaution of proceeding slowly and keeping the engine revs high but floating like a boat and drifting sideways was a complete surprise. Fortunately, just a second before it would have been too late the front wheels gripped and we shot forward like a cork from a pop-gun. The engine developed a worsening misfire and we staggered into the car park just as the engine died. Finding something to do while the ignition system dried itself out wasn't a problem...
