The moment when Injustice Superman killed Billy Batson / Shazam was when I knew Injustice Superman was too far gone.

The fact that Joker didn't receive capital punishment before Superman killed him is far beyond me.

Im glad everyone agrees killing Shazam was the straw that broke any argument for him being redeemed
  • i’d argue what makes Billy’s death worse is that he killed him for just disagreeing with him, in fact he was surrounded by yes men because no one stopped him, not even the flash stopped him. Even the green lantern calls it a casualty of war which is a way he’d never talk about the death of a former comrade

Superman: Only criminals need to fear me. Batman: Shazam and Green Arrow weren't criminals! Superman: Casualties of war. Blue Beetle: There any line you won't cross? Superman: I don't hurt children. Blue Beetle: Didn't stopped you with Shazam. Flash: How come you're not have regrets, Victor? Cyborg: Because I know we did the right thing! Flash: 2 words: Billy Batson! Black Adam: Shazam's death shouldn't have faced you! Flash: Killing children is never ok! Black Adam: He was sacrifice for the greater good!

Superman: “Only criminals need to fear me.” Batman: “Shazam and Green Arrow were criminals?” Superman: “Casualties of war.” Yup. The fact that he feels no remorse and justified his actions just proves that he was too far gone.

The worst part of killed Shazam, was the fact that just earlier to this, Shazam saved Superman from the Kryptonite weapon of Lex Luthor, making a cruel irony that Superman killed the man/boy who saved his life.

Killing Billy is like Killing one's conscience. When one silences that voice there's no going back.

The "real" villain was the government and authorities that has allowed mentally ill cosplayers play their "game" and ended up in a nuke by the Joker

Injustice wonder woman is the true villain of the series in my opinion because she stoked Superman's rage and encouraged him to act like a tyrant. She is just as bad if not worse than Superman because she not only enabled his behavior but, she fueled it too, I absolutely loved the way Harley called her out on this fact in Injustice 2 when she stops Diana from killing cheetah

The way he flew into Lois, thinking she was Doomsday. Fairly certain she would have shattered into pieces before getting 20 feet off the ground.
  • Even if Superman shouldn't have a redemption, his ending should still have some meaning for his story, rather than just having he be defeated and die in battle against Batman or whoever end up being the new protagonist. Just because a villain is irredemable doesn't mean their ending can't have some depth.

I agree with you. However: there is a big difference between eliminating the Joker, which should have been done long ago, who could clearly never be redeemed. Luther was at least a fight, I think Batson was the true moral event horizon. He didn’t flatten the cities, which would have also been a line.

honestly the shazams death is hurts in the game but in the comics superman crossed the line so long ago its nuts the fact that any of the hero's sided with him period is insane i get it in the beginning helping superman makes sense after everything but down the line it just doesn't make sense for them to do
  • In The comic, it just hit mr. Kent’s arm but he lived. Superman Brutally punched Oliver to death.

I am just glad the Evil Superman comes from the multiverse, not mainstream.

Killing Shazam was when I realised he's a true villain
