The second Darrin, Dick Smith plays his character with hatred. The original Darren, Dick York played Darrin with a tremendous amount tenderness and love for Samantha. You could see it and feel it in the videos With such a tenderness and genuine quality. This is all lost with thesecond Darren. There is no romantic feelings. It’s like watching someone who hates women. It’s almost in the videos like he hates Samantha too. It is like he is repulsed to have to kiss her and touch her at least that’s the feeling I get watching him in these videos. What a shame.
