As a black guy in Atlanta. I really appreciate how you guys look at both sides of situations equally. I honestly didn't know they broke down a gate. Thanks for helping by using realistic examples that apply to all of us and being fair to all.

to quote Mr Paul Harrell (and those he may have quoted from) "It is very easy to judge in leisure what people have had to do in haste."
  • @jestra19
“My liberties don’t stop at your fears” I love that
  • @user-wo3ki4ej1b
They protected their home and no one hurt. Not even themselves. Mission accomplished. Period
  • 95% of American gun owners have the same level of training as these folks. Hats off to them for taking a stand when no one would help them. That's our 2nd Amendment in action. It's easy to criticize because they were affluent white folks that spent 32 years restoring a run down mansion and they don't look tactical.

Snakes will protect their dens, birds will protect their nests, people will defend their homes... it's nature
  • @tcjohnson1000
Glad you all addressed this situation from a reasonable perspective. Having a wife that stood shoulder to shoulder with her husband, regardless of how she handled the pistol, is priceless. Good bless them.
  • From the moment that they broke the gate all bets were off. These folks had every right to do this.

A unstoppable force! The rooftop koreans! Store front sikhs! And cul de sac commandos!
  • @rickc680
The McCluskey’s were trained by the A-Team back in the 80s. No one else was there to protect them and they got the job done

As a point, the mayor's house could not be accessed from that street. He lives four streets over and half a mile up the road. The gate had a "No Trespassing" sign on it.
  • @jedibitch
No one got shot, no one got killed, their property wasn't damaged... The 100% best possible outcome possible in that situation.
  • @blamokapow137
If that homeowner had really wanted to hurt someone, he would have been up stairs by a window, where he could have decimated that mob. But he didn't.

Look at some of the closeups of her, that lady was scared as all hell, he’s in socks feet, no time to put shoes on, if he wasn’t scared he was damn close to it. I would not only have done the same thing but have done the same with way few less people coming on our property. Thirty miles from nearest town in some beautiful Idaho mountains. A sheriff’s deputy once told my wife after she reported some illegal hunters( that they did catch), that it is a 40min respond time to reach us with them running code ( lights&sirens). We are at the end of a1.5mi long drive way that is repeatedly posted private drive and no trespassing signs. Hell ya you are met/greeted by a armed home/property owner if we have no idea who you are or why your coming down our drive. Yes we know how to use firearms very well. I grew up with them using them, I am also retired military (Army Infantry) and have taught my family what I know. My wife has taken several classes (with my urging and blessings) and has passed new stuff on to our adult son and myself (I sure as hell don’t know everything) and we train at home and in home, We have enough property and a mountain backstop that allows us to do all the shooting we want. HAVE A GREAT INDEPENDENCE DAY
  • I love how well you both articulate every gun gripe. Especially when there's a political swing stuck in it. Thank you both for these. This one was fantastic as well. Bring back the ability of debate for sure and please revive patriotism.
  • @yeeterMcgee
I support the decision 100% don't bring your protest on my yard!
  • @Stevarooni
You bring the skills and the equipment you have when you get The Call. They weren't very skilled, but they were willing and brave, and a standard-capacity magazine in an AR-15 isn't something to laugh at.
  • Watching this in 2023, it's amazing how spot on you were "After Nov 4th, crickets". And that is exactly what happened.

Amen young men thanks for speaking out. Thanks for your service. I am a 71 year old Vietnam Vet and I am mad, don’t go after the flag around me please. I conducted a lot of burial services when I was a drill sergeant at Fort Polk. I handed that folded flag to the loved ones. I want my family to receive my flag when I die. Monument I hope they never go to the Wall or marine corp monument. Thanks for speaking out. God bless that couple, time to stand up.
