She Said (But She's From Clown World) - Chvrches Parody

Published 2021-05-08
Parody of "He Said, She Said" by Chvrches. Credit to them for the original tune. (And feel free to listen to their version, as it will make this one make more sense.)

This song is off the album "The Sent-In Clowns," part of a parody lyrics collection known as Every Ape and His Brother, a part of Dozerfleet Records.

This new version is about a man getting increasingly frustrated by the inability to have an intelligent conversation online, as women who cannot intelligently address the central point he's trying to make will instead resort to one after another completely-irrelevant ad hominem attack, or attempted assault in real life.

He attempts to show the idiocy of their stock phrase troll remarks, bemoaning that such incorrigible morons appear to have taken over the planet, with no end in sight.

This quick attempt to upload audio of the song lyrics was rush-slapped together in two hours using only a webcam and Audacity, with the video made in Premiere Elements.

The album art features Slushy the Bullfrog, who was trying to be Honkler 20 years before Honkler existed. He is surrounded by angry NPCs, one snorting a condom, one wearing a pink hat, and one ready to eat what resembles a Tide Pod. Visuals are a reference to MeMeMeme's series "NPC University."

This parody lyric album also features "Gates Demi!", about Moderna and related scandals, a song about globalists committing democide, set to the tune of Chop Suey! by System of a Down.

It also features "Mengele Reincarnate" about the same topic, set to the tune of "Good Riddance" by Green Day, along with "Living in a Clown World," set to the tune of "Mad World" by Within Temptation.

It also features "Beware the AOC" (set to the 60s Spider-Man theme) and 2017's "The Liberal Short Bus," set to the tune of the Magic School Bus theme.
