I had never heard of the book but I took a chance on this and I loved it. It's a touching coming of age story with a great soundtrack and a lot of good chuckles. It absolutely flew by, felt extremely real and was incredibly charming. Great film.

Loved this film. Just found it really warm and cosy and it was full of characters who felt real.
-
Adored this. Best coming of age film I've seen since Eighth Grade.
-
Fantastic adaptation. Very charming adaptation of my favorite Blume book!

This book was seminal in my childhood, growing up in grim 1980s Catholic Ireland. One day, I saw my sister and her friend Sile giggling at something they read on the back of a book. I begged to be let into the secret. My sister didn't want to tell me, because I was two years younger and a baby. Eventually Sile brought me into the shed (!) and revealed to me the world that had caused such a scandal. It was 'bra'.

I was obsessed with Judy Blume books growing up 😍 So relatable for pre-teens 🙏 Really happy to hear the movie has done it justice, can't wait to watch it💪 🙌 xx

I really liked the film and the way Margaret was portrayed. It's great to see something that shows a search for religion/ spirituality without automatically having the character decide on the tyranny / demand to not question anything of the majority " religion ". In fact, neither the book nor the film show her ever deciding on a specific religion but still believing in God. Very interesting

I live in Florida. Book bans SUCK!!!!!!!

Intensely charming, impossible to not smile at, The McAdams allergic to aging

I am reading this to my 9 year old daughter and we love it. It’s her favorite book… The trailer doesn’t look great to be honest, like they’re going to try to make it about the adults more than the kids, but we’ll see.

I loved that movie.
-
Not my sort of thing whatsoever but surprisingly it was very watchable and unique
-
if I could sum up this movie in one word it would be wholesome
-
I've never read the book but am very curious to see the film!
-
I really love this movie!

Apparently, the " I must increase my bust" thing was not an invention of Blume's. I always assumed it was but she stated that she heard of girls doing it growing up and didn't know herself how it got started
-
"i think my mum said it."
-
1:33 did Tarantino make this club?
-
1:17 I'm going to remember this episode for a long time I must increase my bust ....how do you know that!? I don't know.. ..okay erm, I think my mom said it ....okay

As a 35 year old bloke, who knows nothing of the book.. I’m not sure this is my bag but I’ll give it a go.
