Update - we found the price β†’ go.nomadsnation.com/aer-slim-pouch

Aer has done it again, they have just launched a new tech pouch and it's their slimmest one yet, with a 1.5-liter capacity. Unlike most tech pouches which are meant to live inside your bag, this one doesn't look out of place being carried on its own, be it on campus or in the office.

Its capacity may seem small on paper, but the Cordura ballistic nylon has enough flexibility to allow this pouch to be packed with an impressive amount of gear.

DO NOT get the Aer Slim Pouch if…

❌ You carry more gear (photography gear, Bluetooth mouse, a laptop charger, larger power banks, and so forth.) The Aer Slim Pouch is not going to fit all of that gear. We suggest looking for a larger alternative. Check out the links below... πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Aer has a cult-like following and with good reason, their products strike a great balance between minimalism and usability. Their products are simple to use and are made of extremely strong materials, for example, Cordura ballistic nylon and YKK zippers. Their products don't cost an arm and a leg and will last a very, very long time.

I just received it and packed it with my electronic essentials. Basically, I really dig the build quality and the internal layout. I put a microfiber cloth in the small zipper area, some chargers, dongles and cables in the main area, and a pen behind the Aer logo. A few points I want to add to your review: - I actually like that the flap is not super flush as it makes accessing it easier, but it still doesn't open itself if I don't want to. - Even though the zips are really smooth, it requires two and sometimes three pulls in order to fully open, as they always get stuck in the final "turn". I'm really happy that I made an order, and as always, Aer did not disappoint.

This is my choice for a tech pouch. I like to carry a handful of pens and pencils to bullet journal and that exterior pouch fits my utensils perfectly. This lets me combine my pen/pencil pouch and my old tech pouch. Love it!

Still using this pouch every day more than a year later. Definitely the best tech pouch for my needs. It fits my power bank, mouse, USB hub, some cables, charger, e-reader and external SSD drive perfectly, there is a little pocket or sleeve for each item, it always stands up, opens up really nicely, and isn't too bulky like my Thule tech pouch which is really boxy. Great materials and design.

Solid video as always! I peeped that you had the lil blue colored timer joint going as you went through each section of the review. Nice touch! Already have the Peak Design tech pouch but ima go ahead and get the Aer one too haha
  • I have the larger AER cable kit x-pack edition and I love it! However I think this is perfect to use with AER bags since I can use the bag’s internal organization for larger things like my laptop charger, mouse and other bulky items and the smaller things I carry can be in this pouch. Love the videos man, keep it up!

You are one of my favourite channels for reviews - informative and entertaining IMO. I love your 'best bags' videos as it's not a top 5, but a best recommendation for minimal, travel, business, etc. Wondering if you can do the same for pouches - best for home office on the road, minimal, photographer, etc. something like that. Also, love that you are doing other EDC gear aside from packs and slings - I'd like to see some on dopp/toiletry kits - that's another thing you can drop a fair amount of money on surprisingly. Just some thoughts - keep up the great content!

4:37 I saw several videos about this pouch and yours was the first one to give such a detailed and crisp display of its interior, thanks!

Found this channel the other day. Very informative and entertaining videos. Used your link to buy this one pouch, went a little nuts and bought two more pouches. 🀣 Can't wait to get them!
  • @hydrochris
Ordered, and used your link, thanks for the review
  • @adamcedillo7321
I bought it. Stoked! Do I need it? No but I like everything are does.
  • Ordered! Thanks for pointing out the pen loop! That's something I never knew i needed thanks to the peak design tech pouch but as you said, it's too big for everyday. I'm just curious, what city are your exterior shots in? I can't tell.
  • @Vollmilchi
Hi, nice detailed shots! But IΒ΄m not sure if my big ass power-supply unit (Lenovo, 6.3*2.9*3.2 inch) and mouse (Logitech MX Master 2.5*3.3*1.9 inch) fits. What do you think? Would be great if you could check
  • @tomsandalon
Dammm you guys are quick! Just got an email from Aer that they have a new pouch and several minutes later I see this review
  • @DaveStern2
good review - that loop could have been on the other end so that your maneuver to hold pouch / loop with one hand and open with the other would work for a righty (vs. how you had to do it lefty, which most people won't do). Would have added to the pouch, but that would mean reversing the zipper, and in that case the zipper would be backwards as most people would expect it to open from left to right. So it seems the zipper won out in that decision. keep up the great reviews.
  • I have two AER slim tech pouches. One for my tech and other for my toilets (use as wash pouch). For people like me who like minimalist and do not travel around things don’t use, it is the perfect pouch!
  • @OffTheGrid1982
To solve the AER jingle get wire cutters and toss them. Find zipper pulls you like. Paracord cobra pulls are quiet and make no noise!
  • @abdullahzr9009
can only buy this product from amazon I would like to get a link
  • @Jasondranoff
Today ... Sept 2023 what is the best tech pouch in your opinion? I just bought the Aer city Pack based on your video and want to pair a great pouch with it... Great content appreciate the videos!
