Buffalo looks like a nice little town. Winters would be pretty darn rough. Joe & Nic's Road trips are really wonderful. Cannot thank you enough.

Beautiful town. Absolutely love the history.

I like the creaking floors, now THAT is my kind of saloon, awesome ceiling and decor, YEHAWW! Happy trails!

I've lived here for 20 years. Originally from Texas. Winters here can be rough, but now I'm used to it. If you visit here, go west on hwy 16 and when you get outside of town, on your left you will pass by the Veterans Home of Wyoming. It used to be an old army fort from the 1800's. Visitors are welcome.

The old cars were placed on the creek bank for erosion abatement. They were not wrecks. And the cowboy statues was a rustler branding a calf and the sheriff pulling his rifle to stop him. The face used for the sheriff was long time resident, Tuff Gunderman and the face of the rustler was one of the Berg (Pat or Paul) twins. Both passed away in the past 25 years or so.
-
A lot of places use old car bodies to control erosion along river banks.

Joe, gotta say that as someone who THOUGHT he knew his 'stuff' insofar as cities and towns throughout much of the US, your niche seems to be finding infrequently talked about (or even known) quaint towns that have that 'Americana' feel to them. And the history, architecture surrounding those towns makes your tour(s) relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks a lot!

I stayed at the Occidental hotel for a night & it was an excellent experience ๐.

I was in Buffalo, Wy. Twice in my life. First time in 1962 with the Boys Scouts. There was a public swimming pond with a diving platform. The next time was in 1974. My car needed a rest, so I went for a walk with this feeling that I had been there before and sure enough I found that same swimming pond with the diving platform. Iโm google earthing it now and canโt find it. Oh well. Things change in 50 years.

What a lovely town! Amazing statues and art! Gorgeous housing with nice lots! Love the hotel and the restaurant is beautiful! I'm a sucker for tin roofs! Civilised!

I have lived in Buffalo Wyoming for 41 years. Michael Thomas made those sculptures. Buffalo is kinda retirement town. Yep, housing is kinda crazy here. Crime is low in Wyoming because we like the 2nd amendment here. The Occidental had a Brothel upstairs. You should have checked out the main restaurant. For anyone who wants to move to Wyoming, my only advice is you better love winter. It can snow here starting in September through April. Summers are short. The Big Horn mountains are beautiful. If you love the outdoors, you will fit it. Otherwise, there's not much to do here. We fish, hunt, camp, ski, and snowmobile.

Keep doing what youโre doing. I really like your videos especially the visits to the restaurants you dine in. Stay safe and happy trails.

You found real America! I love how these small towns stay tried and true. Food looked yummy. Especially the pie.๐

OZ// Thanks U2 ! Nice to see Buffalo- and that its historic aspect in preserved. Dont forget to take some time-out Joey, I know that you do a lot of extra work other than what we see, and travelling can take its toll. Take care. CY Sth Australia.
