I'm actually crying right now. I made most of the base at 8:23 and seeing a screenshot of it after all these years hit me with the strongest nostalgia I've ever experienced. I went by Myst_Penguin at the time and Mystery_Penguin on Facepunch. I remember the way I used to love layering materials on the outside walls to make the structures more interesting, and I remember the way I almost always placed two torches on different corners of the same brick. Such fond memories

Yoo! I fondly recall that in piston dupe bug in beta 1.7.2 back in 2011... For the few days that exploit was available, i had the most fun i've ever had in minecraft getting infinite diamonds, spreading wealth around and even hiring "miners" to speedup the diamond-mining process... that is, until i got ratted out to admins and swiftly banned & rollbacked :p
