I love the theme song to Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. It’s this little ear worm that, once you hear it, you’ll be humming it all day. The weird thing about this song is that for over four decades no one knew who sang the darn thing...until now!

My favorite Saturday morning theme song is "Hong Kong Phooey".

I am honored to have lived through Television's Glory Days watching ace programming and goofy commercials while neglecting my studies and social skills. 🤣🤣

The "Krofft-----SUPERSHOW!" theme song itself was awesome. Cheesy, tacky, bombastic, funky, catchy, glittery, glammy, groovy goodness

I love all the old commercial clips you share with us. Casey Kasem was the voice of my teens; I always listened to his countdowns.

Thanks for the shoutout! :) Debra is THE BEST! Very sweet off-camera as well. And yes, we're already discussing her coming back on. :)

My favorite kids show theme song is probably the silliest: "The Banana Splits (The Tra La La Song)"..

I guess I have to break the rule a bit and go with my favorite 70s cartoon theme that wasn't exactly on Saturday mornings, and that's Battle of the Planets, which had Casey Kasem as a voice actor.
  • Good job, Deborah! Stephen Furst (who played Flounder) was also in Midnight Madness!

Hi Dave!! I remember this show. Back when Saturday cartoons were great. Thank you Dave!! Happy Friday ❤😊 Deidre Hall really made it big. She's on episodes of EMERGENCY and was a huge soap star. She's still beautiful to this day😊

The original theme of "Sigmund " was called "Friends" and sounded a lot like " I like to teach the world to sing "!

Ah ze glory days of TV. I remember having to go back to school after a few days off from a cold or flu watching TV nonstop. And when I watched the channel sign off for the day while showing the flag knowing that school was only a couple hours away, I was soo freakin sad.

"Midnight Madness" was the 2nd "PG" Rated movie for Disney in February of 1980. The 1st was Disney's "The Black Hole" in December of 1979.

Did you know that the Osmond's sang and wrote the theme to Dr Shrinker? Sounded so much like Styx!
  • My favorite was the theme song to “Wonderbug”. I even had the toy car where you can actually ride it, too.
