I just watched the replay of the 2008 Beijing Olympics in which Quan Hongchan's coach Chen Ruolin (5:48) won gold at the 10m dive competition and was being tearfully hugged by her own coach. Now she is the coach hugging her own star athlete. Both Chen Ruolin and Quan Hongchan have each won 5 Olympic gold medals (and counting for Quan)!

1:11 I had to watch the video twice to look for the splash. The splash was so amazingly small I literally missed it the first time. My god.

The Chinese team dominated the gold and silver medals in the women's 10m platform jump, leaving only the bronze medal to the world. Look at the disappointed expression of the beautiful Canadian lady's face, when she knows that the bronze medal is gone also.

These two Chinese ladies are exceptional. They are not only great in diving, but also consistent on every dive.

Congrats to Quan Hongchan! Quan didn't perform as well as she did in other competitions. So was Chen Yuxi. These 2 girls are the best 10m divers. Perhaps of all-time. Their scores speak for themselves.
