When I was first exposed to Arctic Monkeys, this was my first song. I thought it was an awesome song that was sung by an old dude. I checked out their other stuff on the AM album and I came across the video for 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?'. It was only when I looked in the comments that I realized the good looking dude in the leather jacket was the singer of Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner. I googled Arctic Monkeys just to be sure YouTube wasn't fucking with me, and I was absolutely floored because I thought the singer of Arctic Monkeys was this old guy with a leather jacket who smokes. I realized Alex Turner was pretty fine looking, and left it at that. Skip to a couple years later, I listen to the rest of Arctic Monkeys' old music and The Last Shadow Puppets, and I just fell in love with Alex's voice. I bought Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, it took a couple of listens to get used to, but I soon couldn't stop listening to it. I also ended up watching funny moments of Alex Turner being dorky on camera in interviews or at concerts and I realize how awesome of a person he is. Anyways, thanks for reading my rant if you made to here.
