That ladder sounds and looks so nice. As a kid that was always my favorite piece of apparatus and even still to this day. They've always taken great care of their equipment and it shows.
-
This is so cool that they get everything out what a he'll job I was a volunteer for 40 years good job
-
that last engine out is probably STILL the best, hardest working machinery outta all them other newer ones.
-
Most of this country would be screwed without these great people who do this as volunteers.........May God keep them safe

Our station is 100% Volunteer. The operational volunteers are a dedicated group of firefighters and EMS 'Providers who respond 24/7/365. We are fortunate enough to have volunteers who are able to respond during the day. Our group of volunteers is from all walks of life. Business owners, journalists, farmers, teachers and college students to answering as many calls as they can. For a call in our first due, we usually get our first due engine and depending on the call, the tower or rescue engine out the door within 4 minutes.

Absolutely love that ladder! Exactly how I expect a firetruck to sound. Not to mention I know it’s an older rig and they are taking great care of it.
-
I am watching from Elmira NY really quick response from a volunteer fire department
-
As a former volunteer we were not allowed to drive directly to the fire as command had no way of knowing how many personnel would be showing up.
-
Hello beautiful firetruck from tahiti french polynesia ❤

Damn, This video was posted 9 years ago and it’s still getting comments. Lmao! Thanks everyone!
-
Lmfao! Loving all the comments! If your in the fire service all I ask is that you be safe out there. We all have the same reason to do the job and that’s to protect out community.

As a former vol firefighter If I lived there I would volunteer my time
-
i like this.especially the girl running in.
-
My dad was a firefighter 27 years in Indiana. The trucks that do go out are the ones required by the chief or whoever is senior member at the fire Department. This is how the firehouse my dad worked at operated.
-
I want to see you guys are dope and that inspires a lot of people who want to be firefighters and my son and my son loves you guys and that's my truck amen God bless you guys
-

The community is blessed to have so many available volunteers. I am guessing Saturday or Sunday. Monday thru Friday = Work, School, Family Obligations. This is why volunteers take 3 members to equal one career member serving 24 hours per day. Secondly, volunteers can read and write. There is no reason why volunteers cannot commit to being available for those incidents that only require a single resource. We don't need the entire fleet and department on a BLS Medical Aid or Rubbish Fire. This does not mean you are totally stuck if something happens in your life. It means picking up the phone and having someone else cover in your place.
