Dr. Kenneth Kohlenberg, Director of Bands at Sinclair Community College, conducting the amazing Piqua Civic Band in its season opener, June 28, 2012. The band is celebrating its 80th season. Temp was over 100 degrees that night, the band has only one rehearsal per concert, rehearsed the solo for about 10 minutes, and ran it only once. Linda has been a member since 1974, and has been featured many times as soloist with the band. Each summer the band features members of the band and/or community as featured soloists,and since the passing of Robert M. Hance, Jr., 60 year conductor of the Piqua Civic Band, features a different conductor for each concert.
