Once you include all of the fraud, waste and backhanders to the final total the costs will be astronomical. Two things you never hear in Britain: 1) Ahead of schedule. 2) Under budget.
  • United is one of the top sport brands in the world. Not only in football, but sport in general. 100k capacity stadium would be great.

100,000 will still easily fill up. Unlike the Emptihad down the road

As a United fan, I'm not sure why so many fans think this is a bad idea. Iconic stadiums and teams have built new grounds. Such as Bayer Munich, Barcelona, Arsenal, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Inter and Ac Milan are looking into this too. Got to get with the times and compete with the infrastructure of other teams in Europe and the Premier league. We've fallen behind off the pitch, as well as on it. This is a fantastic idea
  • Manchester deserves this 👊. A world famous club that needs to keep up with other big clubs around the world, in terms of stadium development. This will be another huge step to put Manchester on the map as a world city in the UK alongside London. I would be delighted to see this go ahead.
  • I've said that if they build a new stadium it would be foolish to go lower than 100k seats I actually think they should do 105k just to top the camp nou's capacity of 104k when completed 🤔

Old tafford can be use for games like under 18s etc don't destroy it but new stadium is a good idea
  • The way things are going, sir Jim could become a united Legend😮

£2 billion might seem like a lot of money, but when you break it down that's 100,000 people paying £100 for a ticket (£10 million), 200 times. So it would basically pay for itself in about 7 years with 30 games there per season. And that's not even considering tours, beer and food, shirt and merchandise sales, etc..
  • The stadium MUST happen. Not recreating new history in the new stadium will make the old history of manchester united insignifcant in the near future. We dont need the memories. We want to be the best. Its our given right through our history and legacy that we are the best club in england and to be the best club in england we need the greatest faciltity in england.
  • A Liverpool fan traveling around the with Manchester United.

They should visit Edmonton Oilers redevelopment, one of the best and most successful team redevelopment in the world.
  • That’s good for Manchester United. The richest football in UK.I would like to see the design of the stadium.
