  • Thanks to all for the 1000 views! Trying to decide what my next video will be.
  • I bought this mower this Spring and I Love it! This mower handles well even on a slightly uneven lawn. The self propelled action is powerful :D
  • Great job. Comprehensive and detailed. I actually just bought this Model #40190 self propelled and love it. This and the EGO are the only lithium mowers worth a damned and this one has the brushless motor for gas like power. Love it and keep up the good work. Your vid was very good.......
  • I definitely love your video. Your demo is excellent & you provide so much information. Thank so much for going through all the steps in set up & demonstrationing the battery usage. Keep demonstrating. Excellent for anyone not mechanically inclined like I am not. Appreciate. You are very clear & concise. BRAVO!!!!!
  • Thank you for the video. I am about to unbox this thing and mow a lawn for the first time in my life.

I watched this because I really wanted to learn about this mower and was blown away by the professional quality of your video. There are big budget pro videos which don't come close to this in terms of video quality and presentation of information. This was really helpful. Thanks!
  • You did a really amazing job in this video! Professional quality
  • Thanks for a great video! I was curious what the new self propelled Ryobi mower was like. I purchased the previous model, not self propelled. I can confirm the battery charge times are very long and the mower has trouble with any damp or tallish grass. I think I am going to switch to the EGO lineup in the next year or so. The EGOs are more expensive but after dealing with the long charge times and a frustrated/pissed off wife the extra cost will be worth it! :) The EGO has a lot of well thought out features that differentiate themselves from all the other cordless mowers. I had a couple of the old lead acid battery mowers so Ryobi was a real breath of fresh air so if you have a smaller yard or area to mow the Ryobi will do you just fine. I just have a little larger, spread out area to mow. I only use the cordless mower for trimming and mowing tight areas or cutting in around rock gardens and bushes and trees. I mow the rest of the acre of my plot with a rider. I didn't but the cordless mower for mowing my entire yard, that would be silly but I hoped it would go farther on a charge that it does. I bought 2 more batteries and chargers for each so I always have a ready battery but there are times when the usage time is shorter than the charge times and I end up with work left to do and waiting on the batteries to charge up. But, that's the life of a battery powered yard device. Great video though! Very well done and smoothly presented. Thanks

Great video! I just bought a similar model and was looking for more information about the battery performance. Keep up the good work.
  • Awesome! I have the Ryobi in green, purchased in 2014, and I love itI
  • @donegee
Good job! I may have to spring for the Ryobi instead of the E GO
  • @suehammo
Awesome video, thanks so much- really helped me as this is my first mower!
  • @fgallup
Thanks for the review, really helped.
  • @Freptboy
This Ryobi is different from 2020. Good video
  • Thank you for the detailed review. I'm also looking for by this unit without batteries (most probably used) and I have my 40v batteries bought for ryobi string trimmers. Can you let me know the followings; 1. Does it work with previous Ryobi 40v OP4026, 94Wh (2.35 Ah) batteries? obviously run time will be less. does it fit and any Idea how long it will last? 2. Can it used without Self-Properller mode? just as normal push mower? if possible will it hard to push without battery power? 3. Does it good for thick grass cutting? 4. Any recommendations on buying used this type of mower?
  • Thanks for posting a nice, clear, review! A suggestion for future mower videos. Please include more details on the blade(s). You mentioned it came with two. For example, are the the same? Or is one for mulching and the other or discharge only. Do the wheels have bearings? What did you think of the deck quality? Does the machine run hot, medium or cool?
