Great video, I think a video on the original FNaF teasers on Scottgames would be awesome!
  • My favorite part about Dark Springtrap is that for some reason, Funko decided to give him ACTUAL LORE, with a zero-canon-supported blurb about him being a form that Springtrap assumes when enraged. Scott confirmed that bio wasn’t canon, but I still love the fact that at least one person involved with this series apparently said “You know what we need? Super Saiyan Springtrap.”
  • i think it's very funny that people consider "dark springtrap" to be a thing. that is literally just springtrap. it is the exact same guy. just because hes all burned doesnt mean hes a separate character

Heyo, toy nerd here for a friendly correction: That orange springtrap figure was indeed a prototype. Prototypes are always brought to toy fairs; it’s unlikely a sample of the final product would ever be brought to a toy fair unless it was about to/already had been released. Prototypes can range from being a rough “proof-of-concept” sort of thing to being practically identical to the final. Loved the video and hope ya got something interesting out of this :]

Here's a fact that relates to Mad Endo & Overclock: A lot of the final bosses in FNaF World use the same model as an earlier boss, but just have a different name and stronger attacks. Every section of FNaF World up until Pinwheel Circus with a boss does this. Except the first boss Auto Chipper. My guess for why that's the case is because Chippers Revenge is hidden elsewhere in the map.

Nightmare endoskeleton is an incredibly obscure character. It was only an Easter egg in help wanted and wasn’t referenced in the relatively few FNaF games that came out after it
  • @Pastel_TJ
I know someone probably already brought this up, but if anyone is curious about bonnie cookie, cookie textures are used to mask light sources, only allowing light through the white area. It's commonly what you see used on flash lights in a lot of games

So here's my personal oppion on Dark Springtrap. I believe "Dark" Springtrap is "Dark" Because this is the way he looks after the fire at Fazbear Frights, being just a little bit burnt. He most likely also lost a few part after the damage done by the fire, he was also coming to the point of knowing he would need a new body at some point because he was literally falling apart (which he would become Scraptrap). I honestly think that Scott already had the idea of Springtrap becoming Scraptrap at this point.

beacon bonnie is a secret character in help wanted. he is normal bonnie but with a glitched texture. and i think he's pretty cool
  • @SketchpadLad
I still say that Adventure Endo 01 is super obscure. He was built up for UCN and taken out of the picture just as fast with no reason why. Maybe not super unknown of a character, but mysterious for sure
  • @maverickREAL
You really reminded me how disappointed I was that Darktrap was just kinda scrapped. Scott clearly didn't know where to go with the story after FNAF4
  • @SevDoesStuff
Didn't even realize dark springtrap was a whole other character. I mean he's literally just sprigtrap in different lighting
  • As someone who has some experience over-analyzing the FNaF World bosses, I can confirm that the only major differences between Mad Endo and Overclock are the attack patterns, with Overclock being faster and more aggressive. Best guess as to why Scott didn't make recolors for that set of bosses is likely because of both limitations Clickteam had/still has with loading objects that use so many animations, as well as already having put both the Overworld and Battle components in the exact same frame.
  • Bonnie Cookie actually caused me a lot of pain because I tried to make a video on him on my main account, I legitimately searched everything, Reddit, wikis, YouTube, general search, and even looking around on Twitter and the Ultra Custom Night Discord itself, but I legitimately found nothing else but saying that he's an unused texture in FNAF VR and that's it, no reason why he exist, no real possible explanation of what he was used for, nothing, and that is why he's the most obscure fnaf character in my eyes, even if he barely counts as one like you said.
  • @user-gs6fq5dw9u
Trying to compare overclock and mad endo is like trying to compare snowcone and bouncer
  • Overclock definitely seems to move faster in your comparison, though that could be due to differences between the two captures if they weren't done by the same software, and compounded by the fact the animations are not synced in the video
  • @Froggiefusion
I actually remembered overclock. I always remembered there being multiple uses of the eyesore, bouncer and mad endo models. Didn’t remember their names though.
  • @TeethSkylark
8:50 willing to bet that dude wrote the thing about Mad Endo and Overclock
  • @ender68
I've found out something about overstock is that since he's more angry so he attacks more times9:29 even when stunned
