I have a Staedler I've had since college that's still a favorite. Also a cross that is small and pulls open, I have a few pens that are good but never fell off the deep end on them because I do a lot digital and can't justify high dollar that I could spend elsewhere.
  • Agree with you on Tactile. Mine is sitting unused. Love my Ti2 Design boltliner though!
  • @willblake72
My go-to pen is the good old Lamy Safari roller ball. I've got a bunch of them. The TT full size bolt action is also excellent and I have a few of those with Lamy roller ball refills in them. I keep Fisher space pens all over the place (wallet, bags, slips) just because they're durable and reliable, although that ink sucks. I also have a CW&T Type A that I like a lot. It's a little stabby to carry so it lives on my desk which is a shame. Maybe will get a Type B instead. Those use Hi-Tech C cartridges, which are awesome.
  • Machine Era classic for those who dont want to spend a whole lot. Doesnt have fidget factor, but it is very affordable, and takes Pilot G2 refills, plus some others. Looks pretty cool too if you ask me. Plus its USA made...
  • When it comes to pens I have a few and all are affordable. I carry a zebra f701 daily. I have 2 fisher bullet space pens and a refyne ep1 that I rotate carrying on the weekend. Great video 👍

If you feel like embracing the refill sticking out super far - check out a Ti2 Techliner (or boltliner). It's designed for drafting, so you can really see where you're drawing lines, etc.
  • @jamthelion707
quick question, is that a light blue grimsmo saga or normal royal blue
  • @dannyt6798
Why you hate on Tactile.. seriously amazing writing instrument. This one, though, is absolutely beautiful. 300 is serious money, placing it under the grail category. Thank you for good, honest content. Weird to see the pen in the left hand but I’ll make do.
  • @jesseadams45
The cartridge sticking too far in or out bugs me too.
  • @stevemastbaum
The pen looks fairly slim diameter. Don’t really car for the larger pens.
  • @2Kabuki
I havent broke it out, prolly wont lmao. but good stuff bro
  • Saga is fantastic. It does pen things on the paper and is a super flex. Got one for myself and one for my wife. No need for more pens... Except for my ugly tacray that I carry on the motorcycle. Oh! And the the O-Pen Pro! Most expensive cat toy ever! That is the extent of my pens (unless you count the Big i Design I lost while out on the bike.
  • @theMeshtar
Still using that brass BigIdea i got from you and not changing that anytime soon 😉
  • I collect fountain pens (relatively affordable, my most expensive is like $450) and I met a guy who I’ve become relatively close with. He spent $7,000 on a Namiki Emperor Rakucho. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but goddamn! Lol I got to hold it once…I was so scared of dropping it. 🤣
