Ive been telling anyone who will listen for quite a while that this guy is honestly the best there is right now.

This is what you get when you practise twenty five hours a day eight days a week, Charles you have my total respect.

There cannot be a better bassist out there, this is literally out of this world.

A lot of people can play "fast technical stuff" and it's often fun to listen to. Once...   Berthoud does all that flashy stuff and MORE, but he does it without ever losing the pocket. Every note Charlie plays sits perfectly-in-the-groove and it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. After a full hour of basstravaganza - you still want to hear MORE !!! 😀

Perhaps the best musician I’ve heard; so many styles ,techniques, and every note is clean! I love that he takes his music seriously but doesn’t take himself too seriously! He seems like a genuinely nice guy who hasn’t let his ego go to his head as so many have.

This guy has praticed every single day for 19 years, but not everybody can do THIS things anyway. He's just the best. 😀

How is this possible? How can a single individual possess this much talent? How have I never heard of him before? He has got to be the most talented "person" in the world, but I'm in disbelief that he's human. This is the most amazing and mind blowing thing I've ever witnessed.

Charles is the embodiment of all the legendary bassists combined.

I've been listening to Charles for a number of years, and he just keeps getting better and better. He truly is incredible and a credit to the instrument, what ever instrument he is playing, ESPECIALLY THE B A S S ! ! !

At this moment, there is no one better than this guy and I listen to all the Bass Greats. From Willie Dixon to Stanley Clark, Victor Wooton, Larry Graham and Marcus Miller. THIS GUY IS AWSOME !!! Great work Charles ❤

Every bit as good as Tosin. Put this kid on the cover of every guitar magazine. This is nuts! and his sense of humour comes out in not just the videos but his music. it is like his personality is shining through a bass so authentically it is hard to describe. woah

I’d love to see Victor W. and Charles B. join forces and do a tour together. It would be bassically amazing!!!

I was less than 10 minutes into this when I realized that this is the most brilliant, most incredible video I have ever seen/heard EVER... And that's with still more than 50 minutes yet to go. There can only be one NUMBER ONE and this is it. The absolute best of anything I have ever seen/heard from the beginning of time until right now is a distant second to what I'm witnessing right now!
